Abhorrent and pathetic seems to be a bit too far tho... Let's not throw stones here. Poor decision yes but no need to actually insult.

Not the first time that channel has done something like this either.

It is extremely poor taste in my opinion. Just calling it like I see it.

Well judging by the amount of speculation in this forum (which I actively participate in), AP kinda fits the vibe. SCS shares small tidbits, and the community turns those into novels.

He's just figured out a way to make a profitable YouTube channel off of it.

I have nothing against ap101, but clearly he takes the things said here on the forum by us and turns it into a video without mentioning it, looking like he thought of it. If he at least mentioned it in his video at the beginning or end: "The theories in this video are based on a lot of thoughts from the SCS forum and the community in Social Medias", I would have no problem. But that's not what he does.

Yes, and look how well it works for him lol. I think SCS loves speculation tbh. They seem to promote it in every way possible: this guy just figured out how to get early DLC access out of it.

No clue: he just seems to turn a mite into a mountain frequently. And people lap it up! Good for him: he obviously has some skill.

It's just an odd way to make content. I know there is speculation in other communities, but this one seems extreme. It's almost a separate hobby.

Look at the DX12 discussions for example: people think it's going to change everything. We don't know anything, though, because we are working with like a sentence of content.

It's like the telephone game, but played by a metropolis.
