And yeah I don't read every comment. I don't have time to sit here all day and read through 10 pages of comments like some people, and nor would I want to lol.
I wasn't implying rigids are delivering to Home Depot in real life. I am implying that in the game they can. SCS has to fudge things here and there to get more usage out of what we have. Not everything has to be to a tee real life is what I'm getting at. The PNW uses rigids, you are on the East coast so no you may not see them just like I don't see them here in Texas but nothing prevents SCS from doing it. As long as the prefab location to drop off/pick up are legit, people won't really care.

You can check out the post TruckSimChris posted in 2018 of setups here viewtopic.php?p=1174589#p1174589. You can see 3 rigids hauling building material products. Products that I have off loaded at Home Depot in Texas include lumber, insulation sheets, molding products, bagged concrete products, ladders, fence pickets, plywood, drywall.....not to mention all the gardening products like mulch, pebbles and sod.

If you don't read every comment, that's your right. No one forces you to. No need to take shots at people who do take the time to read thru pages though. Somewhere around here, when the WS blog came, we started talking about rigids, and that's when I mentioned they are in the US but are regional and not as common as Europe. You probably missed that too. Its not my fault when you skip post though though. I have to go as if people read until they say they don't. My fault for assuming your read considering your commenting on what may provide reasoning.

I'm starting to think that California phase 3 is not for 1.48 due to the number of blogs, we will definitely get a blog about every single redesigned city, + the new city and the city that replaces Oakdale (Modesto) if I count correctly, in the third phase we will get 8 cities, (if the third phase is big after Fresno and and not further) of which one brand new (replacement for Santa Rosa) and the other Modesto (replacement for Oakdale) that is at least 8 blogs, of which one city already has a blog, if I remember correctly, in the second phase, every single redesigned city got a blog

That doesn't mean every phase 3 city will get a blog though. Thing is, we never know what we get with ATS phasing nor when. We can only speculate. 8 city blogs is a lot when there are other things to show off. I hope they plan on combining cities in a blog. Otherwise, that would indicate they are dragging out the blogs because phase 3 isn't ready to release.

If it's not ready........it's not ready. A tad disappointing considering phase 2 dropped May 10th of 2022, but what can we do? Nothing, but wait. Texas 2.0 and Oklahoma have to be 1.48 as the minimum though if Oklahoma is 1.48.

Frankly, who wants to drive, at low speed, in Cali during the summer?

I would.

After playing ETS2 for extended amounts of time, driving in California is much much easier. In fact, I mostly cruise at 55 or 60 in all states. You miss so much when you're speeding thru everything. I use to hate WoT jobs because of the speed limit but considering its real time and I do actually like to site see, I can manage 55mph okay now. I don't mind driving in older parts of the map at night but in the newer dlc's since Idaho for ATS, I rather only driving during daytime hrs and not have time be a factor. Once you get use to slow speeds, its not not too bad. When switching over to ETS2, all I need to be aware of is the equal to 55mph but I always forget. I try to play in km but my K100 I use, the speedometer is so hard to read kph that I just have to play with my info panel up again.
