Navigation challenges, wasn't that a big part of Scania Truck Simulator?
55sixxx wrote: 05 Aug 2022 12:17 I still think rigids are on the menu... So much swap bodies added with Austria and Hannover and it has been said to be something big... How much bigger can it be? The communnity has been asking for ages, it would refresh the whole economy and may have the chance of them to touch up some trucks.

And like I said before, on ATS's 5th anniversary they released the 4x2's, 8x4's and 8x6's, which was something people asked for a long time.

I honestly couldn't care less about rigids tho, I prefer arctics... But it's something that would be nice to have.
What is arctics?

A cargo system overhaul would be the only feature I'd consider "big". Anything else - other than maybe the introduction of DX12 - will be a letdown.

I don't think of driving school as anything other than a marketing tool they can offer to partners for use at truck shows. Something along the lines of mini-games GIANTS designed specifically for John Deere, Krone, and many others. It has no practical use for players - even beginners. Everything a driving school module would offer is already - more or less - covered by the base game.

We already have arcticulated trucks in-game... It's the regular Tractor-Trailer or like the one you posted above.

O wait, you mean regular semi trucks.
The 1 I posted, is Rigid + trailer. Well, small trailer in that case.

Maybe they’re “arctic” because they’re all built at the North Pole :-)

I don't know why people are this hyped about the 10th anniversary of ETS 2. What if it turn out just a WOT event with 2 skin combo & 2 accessories(1 for the 10th anniversary of ETS2 & 1 for the 25th anniversary of SCS Software)?
Though I will personally like to see either rigid or seasons or a complete overhaul of the cargo system, I won't be disappointed if there is nothing major apart from the WOT event. ;)

We can forget about seasons for a long long time with a 99,999999% confidence on that guess. The insane amount of mapping work they would require (and that it's going to grow every year) would be way better placed in get rid ASAP of all the old ugly mapped zones of the games, specially ETS2 as having more of those.

And consider that seasons mapping effort should be done in BOTH games approx at the same time; player base would not accept that only one of the games would receive such a change and having to indefinitely wait for it on the other.

So, granted, they are not coming for now, if ever.

Regards
