For me, the 5700 must be in traffic day one it releases in order to feel right in ATS. Unlike the 9900i and the 57x, the 5700 is a bit more common on roads still. 57X is too new and the 9900i although it too should be in traffic, it's rare based on regions. Some people see them a lot still, some don't. I see a couple a month here in Dallas. Some see more than that in other parts if the US.

I think SCS did a great job modeling the 9900i to the point that an AI traffic version shows it off. Spawn it like the 49x started off in ATS and the 9900i would work great in traffic. It's just a matter of time before the 57x makes it in traffic.

Yep, most likely it's 5700XE, besides, according to the screenshots shown to us on the Christmas stream, it was completely done. And it looks like it's release is being prepared for ATS's birthday on February 2nd.

Kansas or Oklahoma in WIP, and I think it's too early for it. However, everything is possible. :)

You can't say it was "completely done" based on a few screenshots, it was good enough to show it in game but that doesn't mean it was finished, i guess for a mid February release give or take.

I'm not sure if the 5700 will be ready on February 2nd. Although on December 22, the mysterious "w" depot (speculated by players as this truck) was added to the public build with size: 56.26 MiB, but the size has not changed since then. Usually size changes and is visible on SteamDB.

Its never too early. Oklahoma is already on Steam wishlist and that SCS tries to get dlc's on the wishlist as early as they can. Its about bringing awareness to put on people's mind. ATS needs it because of the much smaller player base to be more visible. ETS2 is much much more established. So for ATS, its never too early.

Currently ATS only has that one map dlc that is officially announced. ATS always has at least 2 officially announced simultaneously. As soon as Kansas has complete enough scenes to show, Kansas will get added to Steam wishlist. There always has to be state dlc in the hole considering how much smaller they are compared to ETS2 maps.

That's a bit different, they didn't show the 9900i in game like they did with the 5700, release could be closer than you could expect.
