No open beta is a huge bummer. Half of Driving Academy related stuff is either not yet translated to Russian at all or translated very poorly by machine translation. And as I said before, translators are not beta testers. If there was an open beta period, it would've given time to see the strings in the game properly and correct any translations, but it looks like it's going to be released as is as "ready" when it's not. And I see there's not that many languages that have translation progress over 90%. Even Czech is nowhere near 100%.

And wasn't the Actros MP5 finished in a higher % than the Volvo? In my opinion, first the Actros, then the Volvo I'm surprised Because the Cascadia has many things from the Actros, such as tablets.

I envy those step deck trailers so much, in ETS2 theres still not a single trailer for volume cargo.

Translators don't need to be testers either. When the strings are added to crowdin they can be translated.

Some times strings get put up before testers even get builds with the new content. I've had things leaked to me from translators because they assumed as a senior tester I'd already know.

But most translators are also volunteers, so it could also just be they've been busy with life.

Nemiro said that 1.53 Open Beta will come very soon after Driving Academy.

My guess, probably until the end of this month.

Greece is supposed to be coming this year (per Pavel's words in September), so it wouldn't surprise me if 1.53 OB starts just before the month is over.

Or there's a good chance that 1.52 will be the Greece update. We'll find out today if there are any hidden secrets
