SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.

The navigation cache every time just means there's a break in the road network somewhere.

@Vinnie Terranova Regarding the "content change detected" every time, simply add SR Map back in, using 10.9. Signs might have messed up or no text but I can confirm that works.

Loaded in twice now and no more message.

Could you give some more information about this? Because usually when there is a broken road between two map mods, you can see this broken road when viewing the world map, but without a rebuild of the navigation cache. So what's the technical difference between this 'normal' broken road and the break in the road network that is causing rebuilding navigation cache?

Unfortunately this doesn't work for me: I can get into the main menu, but as soon as I try to view the world map, the game freezes and after a while I get a CTD.

Can you see the city of Visby on the island of Gotland? Because I don't see the name "Visby" when using the ProMods version of Swedish Island Map. And that's why there are no ferries from Gotland/Visby to Sweden and Latvia. But there is a ferry connection on the island of Gotland itself (Farosund - Faro).

Now, I have tried to create some extra ferries: Farosund - Karlskrona, Farosund - Nynashamn and Farosund - Ventspils, but unfortunately I only have found one way to have those extra ferries shown on the map. And that is by adding some files into the "SwedishIslandsMap_v1.10-Wombat.scs" file. But I rather would like to just add those extra ferry connections as a separate mod without the need to make changes to the "SwedishIslandsMap_v1.10-Wombat.scs" file.

Is there anybody would could check my Swedish Islands Map Extra Ferries mod and see what's wrong with it?

The only way I got it to work, was by renaming the 6 files in my mod by adding .benganj at the end of each file. And then adding those 6 files into the "SwedishIslandsMap_v1.10-Wombat.scs" file.

A normal broken road is where two prefabs don't connect properly via Control Nodes. Sometimes pieces of roads/prefabs aren't flush with each other and if you spawn traffic it'll travel on piece of road or the prefab but disappear when it crosses over into the next piece.

I am having the same issue when viewing the world, but the content change message has lifted.

I'll have a go with map placements and map backgrounds and zoom fixes and see if I can work anything out. Fixed one problem but created another.

Edit: No dice, I'll leave it for now and just wait for updates and do smaller jobs.

Redownload The Great Steppe, it fixes the navigation cache now.

I've switched to using SwedishIslandsMap_v.1.02-Wombat, which brings in Visby and the associated ferries. I'm suspecting (as you originally thought) that the 1.10 Promods-compatible version is a problem.

I'll take a look at your Ferries mod later if I get a chance, as there's some other additional ferries around the worldmap I'd like to add for myself.
