Hello everybody.
I come through this once again to 'raise' an old, controversial and tired subject.
The chassis height of Scania Streamline and R 2009.
As it says in the comparison photo, more precisely in photos 1 and 3, they are photos taken in the year 2015, this year we started in version 1.16 according to the blog published in January / 15 and ended in version 1.22 according to the blog published in December / 15.
We who like this model are not here to ask them to take lowered the chassis of the truck to the point that it looks like low deck mods or something, but at least the chassis height of this 2015 version would be wonderful. It is, in my opinion, an ideal chassis height for now, it doesn't need much and I'm sure it shouldn't take many minutes from any SCS developer to do that. Please think about it. The current chassis height is horrible and very far from the standard of real life. The 2015 standard of the game is what most resembles real life.
Could this ticket be seen and fixed as a bug for now in version 1.40?
Awating.
PS: I don't know if there are plans by SCS to fix all the old trucks and they are waiting until for that moment to correct the model mentioned, but until then, if they can fix the height of the chassis, we will be forever grateful.
PS two: If the Pete 389 axis error was corrected for ATS, it doesn't hurt to dream about this wrong height chassis correction for our old models of Scania.

This truck is really very high. I am a fan of lowered trucks. The model from previous versions looks much better.

Re: Scania Streamline and R 2009 with wrong chassis height
I already made a topic about this but this seems to be a problem that it's being ignored... Even though i think it would be an easy fix for the vehicle team at SCS. The topic i made had 5186 views, so it's literally impossible that it didn't catch the eye of a single dev... all we can do is hope that this get's fixed asap, 'cause i'm pretty sure that this issue is what stops some players from driving this particular model (Old gen R and Streamline)
____________
Btw, i'm just gonna leave this here as a little reminder of what this truck used to be like (Weird angle, but you can see clearly that the ride high is the way is supposed to be):

Re: Scania Streamline and R 2009 with wrong chassis height
Please, can anybody from SCS give us a response about this subject ??
Because the 389 wheel depth was fixed, why can't this get as well !? It's such an iconic truck and this issue kills the truck for me. It legit looks like a 4x4 (And if you put high profile tires, it will look like a monster truck) while in real life it has a low ground clearance.
Some reference pictures to show how it is supposed to look like:

Re: Scania Streamline and R 2009 with wrong chassis height
Technically, the current chassis height is the correct one. At least for the Streamline which, believe it or not, straight from the factory is actually this high. However, given how quickly front suspension sags on those trucks, I'd say the stance should be lowered.
