Stuttering with own trailer [FIXED]
Description: when driving with own trailers, the game freezes for a short time. This is happening at random. At a 1000 km trip, it happens roughly between 2 and 6 times. Freeze is often short, sometimes half a second. Freezing/stuttering does never occur with 'in game'-trailers.
Game 1.40.1.7s (64 bit)
PC: Windows 10 64 bit. SSD. 24Gb of RAM. GTX 1060 6Gb
FPS steady at 60, GPU at about 60%, CPU at about 30/40 %
Reproducibility of the bug: always (no exception) when driving own trailers, occuring at random times
Two short videos showing the stuttering (at 19:00:24 and at 19:16:34)

Re: Stuttering with own trailer
That is a nice example of a real game freeze.
There is one thing you can do: finetune the startup settings. You have allocated an mm_max_resource_size of 100 and a mm_max_tmp_buffers_size of 1000. The will give you only 9 loading buffers. 1000/100 = 9 because there seems to be some overhead to each resource_size buffer.
If you reduce the mm_max_resource_size to 49 then you will get 20 buffers. I'm not sure what resources are loaded into these buffers (textures, config data, ???) but maybe having 20 small buffers instead of having 9 large buffers can speed up the loading of resources. I'm thinking of IA traffic, building textures, road markings ,etc..
Example with 20 buffers available:

Hi, thanks for think along with me. I've used your suggestion, unfortunately, no change. Also, I've removed all launch parameters, still no luck.

Re: Stuttering with own trailer
I've also been noticing this for quite some time now. Nothing seems to fix it. As stated, it only happens with owned trailers. When using trailers generated by the game, there are not problems.
Here is my game.log.txt from a session on a vanilla profile.

The game.log.txt - id att
The game.crash.txt - no file
Map co-ordinates. - WHOLE MAP
Description of bug. - Below
Version of game. - Current version.
PC operating system & whether it's 32bit or 64bit.
Win: 10 PRO current build 64BIT
CPU: Intel i-5 8600K 3.60GHz boosted to 4.20GHz
Ram: 32Gb
GPU: Palit GTX 1060 6Gb Boosted to 2088 MHz
Motherboard: GIGABYTE Z370 AORUS Gaming K3-CF
HDD: Samsung SSD 970 EVO 500GB
Also have same problem. Can it be fixed ? I was thinking so and I will talk to my friend lawyer on this matter. Because if I bought a product that only works in half (the generated trailers are OK), I should probably get a refund of half the cost, right. It is very frustrating, especially since in ATS everything flies like a Spitfire over London. And these cuts are sudden and very brutal. Because nothing like it would be a drop in FPS, but here we normally stop the game for a second sharp. I really wonder about a legal solution to this. Because it's a cheek for players who faithfully buy add-ons. I have traveled 3.5 million kilometers, over 5,000 hours of gameplay and I cannot drive in ETS with my own trailer. I use it mostly to make a profile photo for WOTR and that's it

Re: Stuttering with own trailer
@JankoPL Owned trailers aren't close to half the content of these game. Both games existed for years without owned trailers.
Based on your forum join date, the game didn't include owned trailers when you bought it. So you can get a refund of the $0 you paid for owned trailer content to be included.
