My experience is that stuttering also occurs in TMP. But one will notice it less, because of the game time is running slower in TMP. So it takes more real time to 'catch' the next stutter, so to say. But they do occur in TMP as well

Well that explains it. There is actually a config parameter for that in the console.
BTW, is MP real-time? I mean, is its time flow 1:1 to reality?

TMP may has it's own mechanism to generate jobs for the economy and will generate much less of it.

Reading the fora, I found that TMP has a timescale of 1 to 6 (1 minute IRL is 6 minutes in game). While not within TMP, the timescale is 1 to 10.

Not always 1:10 in SP. I noticed timeflow in SP changes with either player speed or in/out of city. On highways that's about 1:20~1:19, which is aligned with the 1:19 overall map scale. BUT in cities the timeflow is way slower.

the game is in 1:19, in cities it is in 1:3, the UK is 1:15, if you stay still outside cities it is also 1:3 and Convoy is 1:16

Can someone from SCS say something about this topic? Were you able to reproduce the stuttering, with the details some of use have given? For me, I still have a 100% match between expiring loads of cargo jobs and the stutter.

I am not looking already for a solution, or pushing SCS to hurry up (although of course I'd like it to be fixed ;) )

Would it be possible to do something experimental in the OB 1.44 branch? Like, with a switch disable the complete cargo market when on a WoTR-job? So that all the cargo jobs are server-side generated? Makes it interesting to see if stuttering still occurs then, when the complete cargo market is disabled (only offering WoTR-jobs that are server side generated). Just a thought, there's plenty more to experimentally play with in the OB 1.44...

After some hopeful findings that may lead to the root cause of the stuttering, I was hoping some information from SCS would be shared with us.

Would it get more attention to file this issue as a new bug in the OB 1.44 thread?

Max has seen this and is investigating. So SCS are aware and there should be no need to harass them further about it yet.

Just here to contribute some of my newest findings.
I have been playing around quite a bit and the issues had persisted throughout. I managed to discover the following:

1. It seems that jobs are generated for all trailers at the same time. Switching to another type of trailer and switching back does not reset the cargo market.

2. Similarly, jobs seem to be generated for all cities at the same time. Which would explain why @hoevenvd gets stutters with only one town discovered.
hoevenvd wrote: 04 Apr 2022 06:25 Just one town discovered, my home town (where my garage is located). Did a trip of 1000 km (600 miles) and got stutters with my own trailer.
Always underway.
