While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.

I've just downloaded the update and it's great. I'm glad to see the map being extended.

You've done a great job with the landscape, it looks very Australian and the road signs are very realistic.

Now, where do I find some RHD trucks for ATS?

Hitting the ground on non-paved roads is still bugging me. I have Alaska NTTF also, and despite the big holes in the dirtroad coming from a logging site for example, I'm not pouncing the ground there.

After doing a few quick jobs I must say I'm nicely impressed. :) This map has an intriguing atmosphere which I like. I almost wish it was 1:1.
The most outstanding difference to SCS's mapping and to other map mods is clearly that there is not a single stretch of road without bumps, ripples or ruts. I suddenly feel like I'm driving somewhere, and not gliding on rails. The rural surroundings are another plus. Maybe roads get better near some bigger settlements.

Fun story: In the 1980s or 90s I read about some outback roads that were/are used e.g. by Mercedes Trucks to stress test their new models. These roads were essentially long stretches with thousands of big ripples where the rig would bounce lots, kinda like on a washboard, and there's only one speed at which it would just hit the crests of the ripples so that the rig wouldn't buck like a bronco.

@Venom34 What's your scope for the next 12 months if I may ask? Any intentions to connect Perth and Adelaide? To go north towards Alice Springs?

Thanks @Rafaelkai I've got the Scania, but when I try to accessorise it, I get CTD. This happens in the dealership, in the workshop and in truck manager.

Does anyone know if this is a bug in the mod or is it my unique problem.

Cheers,

You need to accessorise it while on LHD configuration and then change to RHD. The accesories config will remain and you won't get CTD.

Thanks, that worked. I'm now hauling across the Nullarbor in a Scania that looks like the one my next door neighbour has IRL. :)
