I can confirm if the stutters is only happened on some cities, especially on large city like Madrid, A Coruna, etc.
But even Lisboa is large city, I not get a lot of stutters on there. Cities located on South of Lisboa, Northwest & Southeast of Madrid from my side its safe from stutters (but idk if another players encountered a lot of stutters on there).
Try reduce the mirror settings. I went down from ultra to high on mirror distance and my stuttering reduced a lot. This map is very detailed and mirrors are like extra cameras and all of them renders the environment with it's details
@abasstreppas Its helping me a lot tho to reduce the stutters, but I still suffers a severe stutters sometimes (especially in a large city like Madrid, A Coruna, etc.). Thanks for your suggestion. ^^
In the city of stuttering, reaching the level that you do not want to play.
@Beta_Project Yeah I understand, and also I feel same like you. :(
The current way to solve the stutters issue is reducing the quality of graphics and restart the game if get encountered the severe stutters. :)
The audio is still running normally.
@lancergalant As Im playing with turned on Radio fetaures, the stutters usually also glitching the music on radio. :(

For anyone with 16GB and above, try messing around with the -mm_pool_size parameter. Set it to half your available memory (8192 for 16GB, 16384 for 32GB, etc.). I'm not sure if it has any beneficial effect on 8GB and below. It cured most of my Iberia stuttering.

The problem is that even if I lower the graphics, the stuttering does not disappear, and it does not help me personally. With the arrival of 1.40, I was forced to reduce the zoom from 400 to 200 percent. With my low monitor resolution of 1440 * 900, the devices were not particularly readable. With version 1.40 with a scale of 200, the devices have become very blurry and these soapy dashboards are not particularly enjoyable, and the stuttering that you just got tired of
I don't speak English very well, and I use Google translator, excuse me :geek:

I also had stutter at times while doing the WoT event , I found it most noticeable when at a junction and traffic was crossing in front of my truck , I always play from inside the cab view

If dropping graphics settings does not alleviate stutters, then it stands to reason the issue is not with graphics, but somewhere else entirely. My guess is still that it's memory related rather than a CPU/GPU matter.

Hey there, I googled this thread up because , guess what.

I have stutters :)

This happens only when driving through Iberia and I see that I am not alone. Just wanted to get in line with you so that SCS knows about this issue.

To add more details, no fps drops here, or at least im not aware of them (9900K,2080 Ti, 2160p) but some NASTY random stutters every now and then. oh, and i drive offline

Thank you for your partience

@mackintosh Hey! I can say Im also aware with that. As on the first 10-15 minutes the gameplay even can smooth with Medium-High quality graphic and later got random stutters until on unplayable level (need restart the game to refresh the game cache (maybe?)).
If its the problem just about quality, and then the game should already suffering huge stutters on the first minute of gameplay.
The stutters itself even still occurs after lowering the quality.
Why on previous version (even while 1.40 still in beta) the stutters not appears frequently or even there are no huge stutters encountered overall?

hey, would be nice if we can get gamelog from anyone who has such problem.
also be more detailed what you experience. stutter and fps drops and such terms are used quite widely and not everyone has same problem.
so be just more detailed what you experience, and also when. we are reading what we can. but for reproducing any such problem we really need more info. and logs. so far we are not able to reproduce such problems.
or if you can report your fps more detailed. what is your typical fps. how much you lose and when / where. perhaps there will be an pattern.

if you have vsync ON. try to disable it.
if you have any kind of freesync / gsync try to use it.

Quote removed - Don't quote the post above - Rule 2.12

In my case, i play with 75fps fixed to match the 75hz of my monitor. In Iberia map, specially in cities and surroundings, my fps drops from 75 to around 40-45fps. In some places (mostly motorways) sometimes i got a big fps drop for a few seconds secs and then everything is back to normal (75fps)

Specs: RX5700XT Nitro+ (driver 21.3.1); ryzen 2700@4ghz; 32GB DDR4 3000mhz (8*4). The frametime shows a lot of spikes when driving in cities or surroundings in Iberia DLC; in this cases, the gpu usage is arround 50%.
