If you grew up in Europe and especially in Germany like myself, there's a good chance you already witnessed what chaos unfolds when oversize trucks with escort, police, trumpets and timpani have the audacity to be in everybody's way.
Chaotic, not because the trip is not well planed.
Not because they do it during rush hour, no, they usually have to at night at a police assigned time window.
Not because it is executed badly by incompetents, no way. The Dutch predominantly, and us Germans have companies specialized on this job with equipment and brainpower, who are household names.

chaotic, because people think they can somehow squeeze by when they are clearly told not to. It makes everybody's job so much harder.
But let's turn the globe upside down and have a look how it is done in Australia. Yes, roads, traffic volume, sizes, all not really comparable to European circumstances. But what really makes me happy to see is the method.
You have one of my favorite youtubers with his signature 1980 built Kenworth, featuring a CAT 3408 and pulling a full grown road train, wanting to get by a convoy pulling a quarry dump truck (well, most of it) , and the matter is resolved calmly, swiftly, with people working together and having each other's back.
