[REL] [1.47] RJL Scania G, R & Streamline v23.6.25

Forgive the stupid question.
If I already use the scania mods (viewtopic.php?f=35&t=299473#p1544848 and viewtopic.php?f=35&t=299474# p1544850) Are add-on mods for G Series, R4 Series and T4 Series necessary or superfluous?
Wouldn't it be better to unify all mods and addons (including those of Sogard3, viewtopic.php?f=35&t=256011&hilit=scani ... es#p931673) in a single mod?

Not everyone wants to use all the trucks so why should they have to download them all?
It's all about the freedom of choice (and saving disk space and reduced loading times when not using all the trucks).

Am I being thick or was there a 420bhp V8 in the mod once upon a time? I'm sure I used it and absolutely loved it - it was the perfect bridge between the l6 and V8, not too much power but not gutless.

Am I imagining this or was real hahaha

@Garrington_Levy a 420hp V8 was available for the Scania 3 series. It was replaced by the 460hp in the 4 series and the 500ho V8 in the 5 series.

hmm, strange as I checked a little bit ago on some old screenshots I found from a previous pc like 5 years ago and the Scania I was using had a 420 V8 but was a 5 series. Thinking about it further, I also think I may have been using an engine mod too, if memory serves it was a Kriechbahm (poor spelling I know) mod that changed the sound as well as added a few oddball engines in - I seem to recall it was a racing style T cab (wide body and low deck).

I'm going to do some more digging as this has really confused me and left me feeling as if I've lost my mind.

As far as I know there wasn't.
Must have been some other mod that added it or simply messed up the engine badges.
