[REL] [1.47] RJL Scania G, R & Streamline v23.6.25

SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.

Re: [REL] [1.43] RJL Scania R & Streamline v21.12.9
@Wolli2017 Yes it is still planned, among many other things, I have not forgotten about it.
Most probably will happen after the Sisu r500/C500/C600 has been released.
The 21.12.9 update was simply a def compatibility update for 1.43.

@louismakowski you need an editing program that can make DDS files, (paint.net), you also then need modstudio2 and the templates, once you have that you need the XML files which can be found in roadstudio discord.
once you have those, (i also use Adobe CS2, i find it easier to work with then use paint.net for the final conversion to .dds format) make the skin using the template as a guide, then use mod studio to make the mod and export it

@louismakowski Perhaps this may be of interest to you: viewtopic.php?t=282956
I only came across that tool recently. Haven't tried it myself since I make all my paint jobs manually but by the looks of it, that tool could come in handy to those who have not fully grasped the creation of paint job mods yet.

Re: [REL] [1.43] RJL Scania R & Streamline v21.12.9
Forgive the stupid question.
If I already use the scania mods (viewtopic.php?f=35&t=299473#p1544848 and viewtopic.php?f=35&t=299474# p1544850) Are add-on mods for G Series, R4 Series and T4 Series necessary or superfluous?
Wouldn't it be better to unify all mods and addons (including those of Sogard3, viewtopic.php?f=35&t=256011&hilit=scani ... es#p931673) in a single mod?

I don't see any issues with the mirrors. Bare in mind they are based from the 2009 swift R from ets1 which became the scania r2009 in ets2. They function as intended and from the external model look good enough. The interior model is also good enough.
There are more important issues to deal with for LoaderSaints, and that is updating the SISU C500
