Detroit Diesel 60 Series Straight pipe sound (Version 8.0 Released)

SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.

1. Downloaded the Steam Workshop Version
2. Went to the workshop directory and copied all files to a temp directory
3. Created a ZIP/SCS archive of the files
4. Activated that archive in-game
5. Took my W900 and went to a garage
6. Found your Detroit engines correctly in the garage engine menu and choose one

I just will do another trial and alternatively will download the truckymods.io version. Perhaps, something's weird with the archive I created out of the Steam Workshop version - although this procedure did work flawless with other mods in the past.

Reason I did so with the Steam WS version before was that I generally planned to perhaps add some more truck mods, and I did not want to get them overwritten with future updates from Steam WS side.
But perhaps - if the truckymods.io version now works -, I'll simply abandon the Workshop one.
I'll keep you updated. Thanks for your help and your question above which made me reflect what might have gone wrong.

EDIT:
Okay, I just notice, when comparing the two archives - mine from Steam WS and yours from truckmods.io -, that mine might be compressed too much - although I thought ATS/ETS2 meanwhile support "normal" compression. Yours from truckymods.io apparently is only "saved" into the archive.
... okay... might be the culprit...

EDIT 2:
@SlavJerry
It was really my fault, probably when packing / because of "normal" compressing the workshop archive => the truckymods.io works fine and sounds absolutely GREAT! 🥳😎
So, sorry for the false alarm ;)

Good find and thank you for posting your findings! I actually had issues doing the same with another engine mod from the workshop and gave up before trying to figure it out.
-Happy Truckin'! 8-)

Could you please make all of your sounds Convoy optional by adding mp_mod_optional: "true" to the manifest.sii?

Hello, could you make it compatible with 362?
