Emaulligu across the pond
Re: Emaulligu across the pond
Oh boy, today's a big one ! A call came in while I was getting the truck looked after, a client in Wyoming had one of his log loaders completely wrecked during a rush, so they needed a replacement one ASAP. They had secured one but it was way too far, so I had to drive it to a Rail Export point, being the closest driver. That was still a 600 miles ride with a 47t machine. I've just had time to knock off the aero top of the Mack and make sure the lights were holding properly before setting off.
It all went well and I even had time to look at the beautiful scenery while driving, but I think I'll go back to more regular loads after this one.

Re: Emaulligu across the pond
Not many pictures, but the trip was above 1000 miles long and full of wonderful landscapes.

First pic is a leftover from last time, then I found a better set ofrims for the Mack and set off again for new adventures !
Adventure is probably slightly excessive for that matter.

Decided to remake my heavy haul special Kenworth using the paints from the Retrowave pack, as well as a brand new set of heavy duty tries from Goodyear, looks awesome.

Re: Emaulligu across the pond
Been there, done that. Tried out the International 9900i, it's a pretty good truck, it drives well and the interior is nice but I'm not really used to it yet, so I'm going to need some time for that. I'll let the desgin sink in, and I'll return to the truck later on. Still can't find something that fully satisfies me.

Re: Emaulligu across the pond
Aslo driving my Mack in the meantime, it's just a little shy of 70,000 miles driven and it still hasn't let me down. It's maybe not as impressive or chrome-full, but it still gets the job done and I love it.

Another batch of pics, still featuring the Mack, as usual.
