SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.

Description:
Pacific is one of the more notable former Canadian truck manufacturers, having a worldwide reputation for robust trucks in logging, oilfield, and a number of other demanding applications. The model P-500F comes from an interesting period in Pacific's history where they were owned by International Harvester. It was made from about 1974 to 1981. A keen eye will notice that the cab on this model is shared with IH's Paystar conventionals of the time.

Some of the things that made the P-500 series remarkable in the on/off-highway market were robust construction, serviceability and exceptional ground clearance. While it's quite a climb into the cab, the view is impressively commanding and even the most basic-spec Pacific trucks had interior trim rivaling other manufacturers' premium offerings. This mod hopes to capture some of that majesty.

Those who follow my work on other channels have probably seen this once or twice already, or maybe you saw the teaser in the Scot topic. If not, surprise! I started work on another Canadian rarity back in January.

That’s a weird looking one for sure. :)

What are those round things on the sides of the hood, air intakes? If yes, what’s the small thing that looks like an air filter?
I have approximate knowledge of many things

It looks really neat. Would love to take it for a spin once it's done ;)

Very nice! I think this is the first Pacific model I've seen for ATS.

What years were this model produced, and what engines were available? (I'm assuming Detroit, Cummins and Caterpillar?)

Also noticed how high the ride height is, going by the images I assume it's a logging truck?

If it's built tough, I'll take it ;)

PS. Detroit Diesel(?) or Cummins NTC

I remember seeing one of these routinely in the 70's running up/down the 401 between London and Toronto; of course it was an owner-operator, and whenever I saw it was hauling a 53' Trailmobile... can't remember which outfit the guy worked for though... My Dad (the truck driver) just loved it...! Would have happily traded his General for it any day!
