SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.

Here's another glamour shot showing off some of the sun-shadow work I did last weekend:

Regarding the P-500S, it's been in the plans since I started this project and will be a 'Phase II' sort of thing.

Good to hear! Guess I'll have to wait a little longer but worry not Smarty, there are tons of other trucks to drive - especially the ones you made, so take your time ;)

Just a little progress update. I've begun the interior upholstery which is, and will continue to be quite a process. Interiors – especially soft surfaces – are still very new to me, relatively speaking. That said, it's been less of a gong-show than I expected. There've also been some additions and improvements to the exterior. I'm off work this week, so I'm hoping to be able to pour some additional time in to getting this much closer to release.

Amazing work so far, that looks great! :D
Once released, I'm certain I'll be using it for many many years to come.

One question, is there a chance you could include the Grote 76223 beacon (from the Scot & Peterbilts) an option?

I know you've modelled the wider Grote 79043 beacon specially for the Paystar cab
(pictured below), but having the choice between the two would be appreciated. :)

Personally, I think Smarty is one of if not the best modders currently in the ATS community. No patreon barrier and 99% accurate truck models. Especially rare trucks too, like the Pacific 500 here.

IwantPeterbilt350 is right - I too can hardly think of better truck creator here alongside ATS community. And the thing I personally like is that the truck archives are extremely lightweight, making them pretty easy to work with both for game engine - and me  - file structure is also absolutely pleasant to work with. Yet the trucks are still highly close to their prototypes.

Of course there are some disadvantages - like, the sound, which is just fixed NTC sound for all of the engines... (and interiors too - actually, it's understandable that putting others' sounds in your own mod is difficult due to copyrighting rules, so it's not a complaint or kind). But on the other hand - it's easily fixed installing sounds from other modders which you as driver would enjoy the most (since sound preferences in the game are individual). And surely there are just no other mods which would have less problems, especially like I mentioned - these ones here are the easiest to get fixed ;)
