A good idea for SCS and the north

i would really appreciate it if I would go on to the deep scandinavia, as it is also my favorite region. i have to admit that i lost the charm a bit but with the expansion i would like to be on tour again

In the last 3 days from 21.05.2021 to 23.05.2021 I have dealt strongly with the countries, Norway, Sweden and Finland.
I was only concerned with these three countries. In all countries there are further signposts and junctions that lead further to the far north.
Over these days, I've been busy finding cities that are good for SCS to model. It should still be playable. Too many cities should not be either. In addition, I have created 3 PDF documentations, as I could imagine that the SCS could realize and plan.
In my PDF documentation with pictures from Google Maps I also included my own pictures when I was in Norway during the holidays.

I have made sure that there are not too many cities. Norway has the most cities. I find Eidfjord quite cool, that's after the Hardanger Bridge or Mo i Rana with the big "Mo Industripark".

That's a good, nice idea. One could do that well. The question only arises when, since the unfortunately small Scandinavian map has existed for a very long time. I really hope that SCS will meet my request at some point. Russia is right next to Finland.

Sure, of course. I once drove with the Karlsson brothers in Örebro, not quite as long as your part. 25.25m. DHL was it. You have a question, have you ever read my PDFs? Start with the Norway PDF and read it carefully. I'm looking forward to your feedback. I have a lot more information in the PDFs than in my country lists. I wrote down my thoughts there too.

To be blunt: You just wasted 3 days of work to create PDF-files containing maps images and pictures of places you want SCS and map modders do add with no regards to that they are fully capable of doing research themselves for the areas they are working with. They can't possibly fit all your places in the game with current world scaling without making it too cramped with towns and tourist attractions everywhere with nothing inbetween. Also if they managed to add some of the places, doing so for every country they worked with would require more development time, and they already have more than enough to do.

The only way your work is of use is if you were to create the "Nordic Dreams" map mod yourself as you certainly have the research in place.

Thank you for your idea. I may have way too many cities in my lists that I would like to have added. But what you also noticed is that I thought about which cities are important. E.g. Mo i Rana with the Mo industrial park. I don't know, but maybe one day there will be a map extended by SCS for all of Scandinavia. Because Scandinavia, as you can see, is so close to my heart. I like that idea to expand Nordic in the game but I don't think it's realistic to represent every city you listed. Because the map are scaled. Norway are techincally a narrow country but are long. Many of these will literally be overlapping each other if they manage to fit all these listed city. And many of these places are very small places that they probably not going to prioritise. I would it's more realistic that they add maybe Molde, and Trondheim, Tromsø. And maybe couple of towns in Finmark. And maybe some few places between Trondheim and Tromsø. And maybe Lillehammer. I would think that is hard to represent Norway in this game because they are not many big city and people live spread out. So you have many small towns instead of cities like the same way you have further down Europe.
But they will probaly be able to add more places in Sweden it's more territory they can use. They will probaly not be able to include all your listed places. But maybe more of them becuase it's more space between the places in Northern Sweden.

I don't think it's realistic that they can add all these places in the current map module. If you want to represent all these places. You need make a standalone map that focuse on Norway/ Scandinavia and make a map that are in the same size as the base game with all the map dlc.. Which I hope somebody are crazy enough to make.

Of course you are right that not all cities come into play. SCS can choose cities from my list that they want in the game, they should decide for themselves.

The Mo industrial park in the town of Mo i Rana in Norway is very important to me! This is a big industrial center.
I think that is even close to Mosjøen and Fauske. After Fauske comes Tromsø after a while.
Question, Who of the SCS moderators has already seen the lists?
I do not know it. I'm also relatively new here.
