[UPD][REL] Project Better Arizona 0.5.2 - Jul 1, 2026 - 1.60

Forum rules
SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.
Posting in the Mods forum (ATS and ETS2) is restricted to sharing free-to-the-public mods and providing support for mods. For more details, please check the Forum Rules.

Shoot, sorry about that, I'll have to provide a new log, it's a different day and I don't get notifications, especially since moderator approval is needed for my posts, so I tend not to pay attention or keep myself up-to-date on this, I'll need to re-create the issue again, I'll provide both an updated game log and crash log, sorry about that

Alright, I have the updated crash and game logs, not sure if these are right though... https://drive.google.com/file/d/15hPhIx ... sp=sharing The game link is here (if I'm allowed to post Google Drive links), and here's the updated crash log: https://pastebin.com/bqi4XZPN

I hope this helps, and apologies for the inconvenience

The end of your game log file got truncated because of its length. You may need to launch the game with the -unlimitedlog parameter so that the log includes the moment the game crashed. I did notice that your log included lots of spam about failing to find some service prefabs, though I'm not sure if you were in the crash area at that time or not.

Using only Project Better Arizona and Mega Resources, I tested driving down I-17 from Flagstaff, then taking Loop 303 around Phoenix, and onto I-10 going west, and was unable to reproduce a crash on my own. While I don't think any of the other mods you listed would cause any conflicts, you might want to try testing without some of them to see if anything changes. It might not be a bad idea to try verifying game files in Steam, either.

Will do, I'm sitting at home base right now, so relogging would be simple, I'll run that param now and get to work, not sure why you're unable to reproduce the crash, but I suppose it's whatever, and did you disable all the DLCs apart from Arizona and NM and whatever others come standard?

Good point, I did not disable DLCs. I tested again on a new profile with all map DLCs disabled except for New Mexico and I drove from Camp Verde, down I-17 and Loop 303 and still didn't receive a crash.

Thank you for the game log. I see some of the same warnings present in my game log right before your crash, but none of them caused a crash for me. The very last line of the log complains about an index outside of array boundaries without any specifics regarding an item placed in the map or anything, which doesn't really mean anything to me in this particular circumstance, unfortunately.

Odd... I don't see anything that might do it for me either, also, I tried with a fresh new profile with just Mega Resources and PBA as the enabled mods, but same crash in the same spot, I got off the NB freeway which exits to the L303 WB, and right about where the navigator shows the lanes splitting on the map, going to guess that Reforma is required and thus, in essence, all the DLCs, I'll have to do more testing once I've got all the DLCs, thus Reforma and all the other necessary mods for this

Alright, update: I tried it again to see if it was a fluke, and yeah... turns out it was... except this time I had the console open while I crossed the point, and it DIDN'T crash! I went one more time to see if it was a fluke, went onto the I-10 EB, then took the I-17 NB, then back onto the L303 WB, and crossed the point again with the console open, and no crash! I'm like "WHAT?! WHY?!"

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1UiTvqc ... sp=sharing Oh, and log

Update 2: Tried with my main profile, and it didn't crash either, console was on, of course, will have to go again with the console off

Update 3: No crash after trying again with the console off, very bizarre...

The Prescott Valley update is now available with Project Better Arizona 0.4.5! This update finally includes a finished State Route 69, many new companies, a new route through Downtown Prescott, and many bug fixes and minor improvements. The project's roadmap has also been updated, with the Phoenix area being next in line to be worked on.
