Adding the exhaust accessory locator to the cabin model and then deleting it from the chassis model should in theory let it move with the cab suspension.Billy_Costigan wrote: ↑10 Jun 2023 15:22 Only downside are the exhausts which are tied to the chassis and visually collide with the cabin sometimes. Do you have tips to improve it?

Thank you, yes it worked. Thought it would look off if the exhaust is moving with the cabin but I was wrong.
Reworked the headlights today. The white headlights always bothered me on older trucks. My attempt on more "halogenish" looking headlights by adding a new flare with yellow/orange tint and new lightmask color.

Re: Billys road trips and Blender adventures in the US
nice, i should do it maybe also on my W900, but most likely i will wait for SCS to do it
also, this got me curious how are the stacks mounted to the exhaust system, because they should move with the cab, therefore a flexible part has to be somewhere to take the dynamic movements, also, the air filter, they are cab mounted also and shouldnt move with the hood from what i see
also, quick question, do you use the ATS suspension or the ETS one, the wobble looks extreme

Re: Billys road trips and Blender adventures in the US
I did it for my SCS W900 too. Was a matter of a few minutes since the hood is already separated. It's a bit of def editing and deleting locators from the interior.
Good point on the air filters, the wobble bothered me too. I became a little bit lazy an smashed the air filters and hood together. I will separate them and then it should look better.
The stacks are actually pure asthetic without proper fitting to the exhaust system since it's not visible nontheless. If I did it properly I had to split the exhaust with the stacks being tied to the cabin and the other part to the chassis. But I'm not sure if it's possible without visual collisions between them.
Honestly I didn't open ETS for ages, I didn't even know there's a different suspension system. I use the suspension type from the 2018 VNL.

is the case with the LT also, the Anthem needed a bit more work to work properly
the new type came with the VNL, hinge2air , if it is not specified 4air is used (if suspension: true is set), well maybe the road you did the test one was the factor, this one has more aggressive bumps then the normal roads

Welcome to the wobble club mate. Trucks look mighty fine as always. And it's cool to see more people jumping on the cab suspension wagon

Thank you wolfi!
So, separated the filters and tied them to the cabin, rest is tied to the chassis. Now I'm satisfied
