SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.

attom, do you know if someone is working east from Quebec? I've been tinkering with trying to do the Atlantic provinces with a road connection to your map, but I'm new to this process and have no idea what I'm doing.

Re: Ontario and Quebec Jun 01, 2024
I'm having difficulty loading this map. Aside from the SCS-built DLC, I'm using only ProMods, an Alaska one and then one that links the two maps together. I was under the impression that maps could be detached, but perhaps this is incorrect. My game seems to load it, but when it asks me to move to a safe place, it crashes the game. I feel like it might be my load order, but I'm using the load orders that are found on these forums, so I'm only left to think that my understanding of how maps connect (or don't) is the flawed part here.
Ideas?

Hi Geno, that'll do it. I have all the DLCs now and I can see it. It's currently sitting by itself with no road connections but that is because I don't have any of the others yet. It's impressive and I look forward to exploring it!

I have all DLC and latest C2C and Ont/Que. All three seem to coexist ok, although the only connection to C2C is via Niagara. I'd like to add in CanaDeam/CanaMania but that breaks roads, no matter which order I try.

I was trying take a cargo in Sept-Iles from my 3 axle lowboy - get to site, take job, says head to green marker. No marker. No prompt when drive near the probable cargo. I dismissed my lowboy, and took a freight job fine, to Saguenay. I'll try again there. Have C2C and Ont and Que.
