There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.

Yup. Check my post for details. AI traffic drives at 56 kph. I think could be an error in the Quebec part of the map.

Re: Ontario and Quebec Jun 01, 2024
Hi,
My game keeps crashing just before the US-Canada border. The only other map mods I use are Promods Canada and C2C. I followed GMC Logistics' load order to the letter.
Here's my game log:

Would really appreciate if someone could help. Thanks!

There are out-dated assets in the mod that the game can't use. Basically its not compatible with 1.52.

Thanks for the input. Well this makes the map unplayable on v1.52 as all the RCs are broken/make the game crash. Is it just me or are ya'll having the same issue too?Madkine wrote: 28 Nov 2024 02:31 There are out-dated assets in the mod that the game can't use. Basically its not compatible with 1.52.

@Attom and Gino
Love the work on Ontario/Quebec! As someone who ran the Montreal/Hamilton/Windsor corridor daily, it’s really well done!
Would you guys be offended if I was to make a couple of suggestions for improvements in a few cities? Nothing major, just companies/fuel stops

Re: Ontario and Quebec Jun 01, 2024
First off, thank you again for the great job bringing Ontario/Quebec to ATS! I love being able to navigate just by the road signs, but there are a few things that I feel should be mentioned.
To start:
Kingston, On......there's no big port downtown, all we have is a ferry dock that could be visualised by using one of the Washington State ferries, as well as a marina. See photo 1 for details.
Out closer to the 401 on Gardiners Road, we have 2 big truck stops, a Petro-Can Superpass and an Esso/Husky across the road. The Husky has a scale as well as a truck repair shop across the parking lot. There is also grass growing thorugh the pavement all over your Wallbert in town. On the note of Wallbert, we have a hadnful of maufacturing plants and warehouses out by the highway that would better serve the in-game city than just a couple terminals close to downtown.
Southern Ontario:
See Photo 2/3 for details......just east of SImcoe Ontario is Nanticoke, home to Stelco Steel Lake Erie, and Esso Refinery across the way.
On the 427 south to 403 from 401, that entire area is built up almost right to the shoulder of the highway, there isn't any flat areas or open fields until the west side of Hamilton/Brantford area
Windsor Ontario.....There should be a couple of auto factories there as well as steel and chemical plants, Windsor is an industrial city, not quite to the level of Sarnia or Hamilton but they have a diverse range with Detroit being just across the river, not to mention London/Chatham/Leamington is full of either farmland producing fruit and veg, or auto plants and associated industry
Hopefully this is of some use to you folks, if you have any questions feel free to ask me, I'd be more than happy to help with some real world driver knowledge from my time spent on the Corridor
