Cruise control won't stay on

I've just got a newer, better computer and I'm loving the higher res, greater detail and better frame rate, but the only downside is that cruise control only stays on for a second or two! WTF?

I've set it to a button on my Logitech wheel and a button on the key board, but either way, it won't stay on!

Any ideas?

I've found another bug in this new computer, the exhaust brake no longer works! I've tried assigning it to different buttons on the wheel and on the keyboard, but it just doesn't work!

It worked fine on the old computer...

I tried UKTS on the new computer and I'm having the same problems as GTS, cruise control won't stay on and engine brake/retarder doesn't work at all!

I also encountered many errors in these games.
They are probably not compatible with new operating systems and steering sets.

Well, yeah... Probably so since they've over 10 years old. Try Euro Truck Simulator 2 or American Truck Simulator for something a little more modern.

Oh, and Sniper's Adjustable Cruise Control is a must have program for both of those games... You will need ACC Updates for each of them, and Josh0 can help you with that.

scs's fault.
Since these games are not sold on any platform, many people cannot access the latest versions.
Even if you have a physical copy, it is most likely an early version.
This requires you to deal with small problems more.
