Re: Louisiana Discussion Thread
I'm confident that Louisiana will be release around October or early November, 20 subjects topics are remaining, which at least 8 to 10 definitely will be on blog, and looking at with in comparrassion with recent releases, there are an average of +20 in total, so far Louisiana has 9, so we are basically halfway. And I agre with most of you above, we will have one the most beautiful area of the game in nature and vegetation area, I hope SCS dont forget to add that long tunnel trees at highways

Thanks for mentioningLATrucker wrote: 15 Jul 2025 16:53 Pic 8 must be taken somewhere in or near Grand Chenier on LA-28. At least 28 miles is the distance between Grand Chenier and Pecan Island. However, the sign seems to be fictional as I couldn't find any distance signs on LA-28.
My guess is somewhere here: https://www.google.de/maps/@29.7656398, ... FQAw%3D%3D
Maybe this house is on the pic, even if it's not an exact fit: https://www.google.de/maps/@29.7600135, ... FQAw%3D%3D
I noticed some damaged buildings along the road, possibly due to Hurricane Laura in 2020 - (here, here or here)
Along LA-28 there's this draw bridge. Maybe we'll get it at least as static model.Mooner_37 wrote: 06 Jul 2025 21:44 I wonder if there will be some functional draw bridges included in Louisiana DLC. Those who are in the Washington DLC are still cool after all these years.

I must have missed this post. In any case, thank you for publishing the links to the micro-sites, as I am unable to find them on the Internet every time.

The Alligator Snapping Turtle.rbsanford wrote: 15 Jul 2025 17:27Yeah, that looks like it has potential.HayesPacific wrote: 15 Jul 2025 15:50 I bet that wooden bridge in Picture 5 is part of a hidden road.
What also caught my eye with Pic 5 is that thing in between the bridges; it looks like a boardwalk that ends with a big model of an alligator snapping turtle for some reason. That might help with identifying its location.
I know there's no chance of it happening, but imagine a random event unique to swamps of the South of an alligator snapping turtle in the middle of the road, with its mouth gaping open and everything. Hitting it would have to result in some truck damage; these dinosaurs can weigh hundreds of pounds. Having one of these in the middle of the road is a bit far fetched, but I hope they will still appear like alligators will, off to the side of the road.

Re: Louisiana Discussion Thread
@Ludo Diabolo You can always try just using this url format:
https://americantrucksimulator.com/state/
replacing "state" with the name of the state. That's been the path for every microsite so far, even the ones created retroactively, so every DLC including Arizona has a microsite now. New Mexico is newmexico, so I assume South Dakota will be southdakota.

Yes, and there are also microsites going back to Going East, but they use underscores for spaces, e.g. going_east or nordic_horizons

Recent video from a truck driver crossing the I-10, towards Baton Rouge (skip to 4:49 minutes) The original language is portuguese, but you can either turn on the subtitles or auto-dubbed to english. But the main thins is the area and landscape, we will get some portion of that soon.
