Re: wheels in the ground
I have encountered this as well, with numerous truck mods. With the local player and remote player in the same trucks, the local player appears normal, but the remote player is sunken into the ground an inch or two. This is observed both ways, by the host and by the remote players. I've spoken to other modders as well and they have all encountered this issue, with no way to resolve it.
I believe this is on SCS's side, I think it has something to do with the world origin of the remote player vehicle.
It's been present in all versions of the 1.42.* beta.

Yes, I'll bring it up. I really want to get an answer. This also happens in the ETS. Log is clean and no crashes.

Re: wheels in the ground
If it only happens with mod trucks and not with base-game trucks, then that is a mod issue.
Report it to the mod developers. SCS is not responsible for every mod.

Re: wheels in the ground
@bobgrey1997 it happens with scs trucks too.
I can confirm this issue even on ets2.
for exmaple my lowdeck actros mod:

now for example the new daf xg+ by scs:

You can see even the daf is floating. And no I haven't found a solution for this issue, so I guess the multiplayer ignores the end-point of the tyre.

Re: wheels in the ground
That's absolutely what it is. Mostly affects lowered trucks where the chassis remains in the same location relative to the origin and the wheel nodes get moved up.Slider_556 wrote: 07 Oct 2021 19:22 I think it has something to do with the world origin of the remote player vehicle.
Also had this happen with my custom Steer Car trailer mod, the load portion was sinking down into the steer car, it was an easy fix. However some mod rigs may not be an easy fix if they have options for both standard and lowered chassis's. If you move the whole lowered chassis down in relation to the origin, if the cab is a separate model, it will not be lined up with the chassis anymore, you will have to have two separate cab models, one for the standard height chassis and one for the lowered chassis, near as I can figure. I would like to see this fixed on SCS's end.

Re: wheels in the ground
Yeah, it definitely needs to be fixed on SCS's end. The player and remote trucks need to be as 1:1 as possible across the board. Otherwise modding is going to be even more cumbersome than it already is. If SCS leaves it as is, everyone will be seeing lots of screenshots of trucks sunken into the ground, that's for sure lol...
