because with the UK leaving there will definitely be a change in customs, so why rework it twice if they can wait for it

Leaving? Its been almost a year now since they left the EU

This signature virus has been spliced with the Fundementalism-B virus to create a new more contagious strain. Please look for it infecting a signature near you.

And after one year they do not understand what happens. It happens exactly that what was predicted, and nothing happens what was promised. But "never give up never surrender" drowning with a waving flag.
And the Primme minister is telling about peppa pig.

Next time they want to enter the EU they have to drive on the correct side and to use metric system.

it is to late for them to switch, the existence of so many cars and the road network set for LHT would just make it a money burner, it isnt like it was in Sweden back then when they changed from LHT to RHT in the 60s

The UK has been left a year which in my opinion was completely the wrong decision and we’re led by a completely incompetent government. I hope in years to come we return to a place we should never of left. No chance of switching to RHD although I wouldn’t be against it and with regards metric we are metric predominantly although with anything the UK is involved in it’s always half measures.
So now my small rant is over.

We can’t expect SCS to implement customs checks when the uk government in real life can’t do it either.

1.43 is still a very recent update. I believe that only from mid-February we will see something about 1.44.

Just because they'd drive on the right wouldn't mean that they have to throw away all LHD cars. They drive perfectly fine on the other side of the road ;)
Lifespan of a car is an average 15 years, so in that time the whole fleet would be gradually replaced with RHD cars (not counting oldtimers and special interests).

I'd like to think that a Channel tunnel train update depends on a UK rebuild rather than the real life customs formalities. And that rebuild is still some time away since we will get Austria and potentially Switzerland first, with Benelux also potentially ahead of UK as well.

i dont mean the cars, they are the least on the list that are considered for a change (if at all) it is the whole road network, signage and road markings that have to be changed and this alone is already to expensive, we already see how "quick" they are to patch up poor maintained roads (wich exist everywhere in the world) a change now from left to right would just be not feasible to do at this time
