Re: ETS2 1.44 speculation thread
The fact that the overhaul of the whole base map, DLC Going East and Scandivania is a general fact, the reworking of the UK was once mentioned by Pavel who said that the UK will be reworked as a whole in one update and will not be divided into phases like Germany, my estimate of adding 5 seats is based on the fact that the area of Scotland (above Aberdeen) does not contain any cities there would fit 3 cities other cities can be added in Wales, it is necessary to add the city of Portsmouth

Re: ETS2 1.44 speculation thread
I know it's most than clear that UK will be eventually reworked. But we don't know when that would happen, not at all. In the meantime. you talk as it is happening and as it is granted more cities are going to come. The most probable thing (by large) is that you will be wrong in BOTH things. UK is most probably take longer to arrive and there's no need for SCS to add a single city to that part of the map; specially considering how all what it's left could be perfectly included in future DLC with Ireland in order to make it bigger, so, more marketable. Not to mention that there's still the possibility they shrink the map to equal the scale (so, less space, way less possibilities for more cities).
If you keep insisting in word your desires as if they were facts; only two things can happen: You end believing yourself are right (and crashing against Real World, as happened with everybody believing we will have whole Balkans on a single DLC); and you are going to confuse other players that could come here in search of news. So, please, word your desires and guesses as such, not as proven facts.

if SCS ever reworks the crossing in france and the UK.. i hope they fix the steep angle... if i have a trailer with a mudflap i get damage on the trailer as the flap clips into the ground... thats one of the main reasons why i avoid that place on the map...

Re: ETS2 1.44 speculation thread
I rarely experienced body, cabin, or chassis damage when entering or leaving the UK through the Channel Tunnel. It’s only with a stretched low loader trailer that I received those damages.
Nether the less, I do wonder if the ramps are steeper in the game than they are in real life. Also, aren’t the Channel Tunnel terminals larger than what is depicted in the game?

Re: ETS2 1.44 speculation thread
Eurotunnel in game is too old, hence the inconsistency. I guess they will rework while they work on UK.
Re: ETS2 1.44 speculation thread
I hope they rebuild Eurotunnel before UK, of course the french side ...

the ramp in real life is not steep at all.. been there a bunch of times... and when you leave the train by car you end up in a spiral road with the exit on the correct side of the highway...axl135 wrote: ↑11 Jan 2022 17:26 I rarely experienced body, cabin, or chassis damage when entering or leaving the UK through the Channel Tunnel. Something is moving on steamDB for the experimental branches, maybe we will hear about 1.44 in the near future?
physics.scs --> "bristle_stiffness_longitudinal_factor: 5.0" for throttle/brake responsiveness
I overexplain always and only for fear of being unclear
