ATS 1.44 speculation thread
Re: ATS 1.44 speculation thread
ATS bday is probably too optimistic to think open beta. It's to soon to perhaps get hints on it in regards to adds outside of maps too. January typically doesn't provide that type of info. Its a slow month. Mid to late Feb at best is a better guess. 1.37 ob came late February with Fmod. That is the earliest I have noticed since I've been following updates in 2017/2018.
My post are only thoughts and ideas. Don't assume it makes ATS.

Re: ATS 1.44 speculation thread
I'm still hoping for 1.44OB to hit mid February, with full 1.44 coming in beginning/mid march. Then 1.45 ob (my personal hope for the Texas release) to hit in mid/late June with full 1.45 and Texas coming in mid July.
Then going slightly off topic here (future versions) 1.46OB in September/October-ish with 1.46 full in November with Montana release.
I know. I'm super optimistic on timelines. Especially with no "coming soon" or any other kind of announcements yet.

Texas or Montana for 1.45 works for me. I am sure 1.44 brings HoR. So 2022 should be a good year all around.

Re: ATS 1.44 speculation thread
I figure 1.44 already has it's list of bug fixes/improvements So 1.45 would be the next available slot (in my mind) to put that in. 1.45 OB to get the 'connector roads' done and then 1.45 to release Texas (or Montana, but I really still believe TX will be first). Maybe 1.46 does bug fixes and clean up for TX release. 1.47 could be Montana.
It'd be great to see both those states before 2023. Gives us something to look forward to this year.

Re: ATS 1.44 speculation thread
I soooo hope both Texas and Montana can release this year. Get us back to 2 states a year. From that point, its all smaller states and we'd surely get 2 states minimum. I'm really hoping 2023 can bring 3 though. The Texas team can split into 2 teams, then once Montana releases, that eam is free a end of 2023 dlc. If Texas releases first, I can see 3 maps for 2023. If Montana goes first, I only see 2 maps for 2023.
If 1.44 could do something similar to what the pre Colorado dlc release did...that would hype up the crowd for sure. If 1.44 allows us to see into both Montana and Texas, that will create a nice buzz. Especially for Texas. Seeing roads finally extend from New Mexico since 2017 would be a nice treat and pure excitement. For Montana, seeing more of US-2, I-90, US-12, US-93 and I-15 will be exciting to see. Salmon sooo needs the boost.

Re: ATS 1.44 speculation thread
If we consider that among the next states we have the Dakotas and Nebraska, 3 states per year doesn't seem that out of the way.
I wonder if they'll focus more on boxing the map or pushing east though.
Back to 1,44, I believe it's gonna be half of February, it's been a while since we got some juice for ATS.

Re: ATS 1.44 speculation thread
ATS got some things with the last update. Just nothing like ETS2 did with map updates. After 2022, I think that is when we will really start seeing a lot of map progress. Texas and Montana are taking a lot of resources. But I see 2023 as being a huge positive for ATS.

Re: ATS 1.44 speculation thread
Tbh I don't remember the last updates being that rich for ATS, but maybe I'm wrong. I hope for some great map addiction with 1.44.
Re: ATS 1.44 speculation thread
@flight50 I see 2022 quite positive for ATS as well.
@FrancescoMasci I think we may see some more of California reworked in 1.44. But that is a wild guess for me

Been stated previously Pavel was pretty clear on pushing to the east coast ASAP.FrancescoMasci wrote: ↑23 Jan 2022 15:52 If we consider that among the next states we have the Dakotas and Nebraska, 3 states per year doesn't seem that out of the way.

I expect ATS will develop into an odd "L" shape again before it's done. No way around it if they push straight to Georgia.
