Now I want Switzerland rebuilt with same treatment. Austria looks wonderful.

Switzerland will likely be the next rebuild, because the hole in map, and hopefully the same quality.

That first one looks very nice, but I really really really doubt that you could get anywhere near that spot with a truck in real life, considering they even limit truck traffic on the Brennerautobahn for only daytime.

That road is also featured in the current Austria, and there you HAVE to take this road because they didn't bother to build the A10 between Salzburg and Villach that runs paralel to it. Now if in this rebuild they do finally build the A10 and they only keep this road as a scenic alternative for sightseeing I don't mind it. But if we would still be forced to take this insanely unrealistic alternative to the actual motorway I will lose my sh*t..

Pavel mentioned in the livestream that this is not an area truckers would normally access, so they had to invent a reason for it to be in the game like they did with Yellowstone.
But yeah, if they are really rebuilding the whole country from scratch, it would be a mistake not to include A10 this time. However, so far all the screenshots people have been able to identify only show locations on pre-existing roads...

Yes, it looks amazing!
I hope for a Switzerland rebuild in the future as well, but also the parts of the Alpes in France and Italy. Some of those roads are really old.

Recently, I visited the new Lyon and then made a trip from there into northern Italy. I hadn't been there for a while and was disappointed with how outdated the scenery looked. Then seeing these images of the new Austria makes me very very happy

I'm almost looking forward more to the rework projects (Austria, California) than the new expansions... Almost

I'm more interested in remake of the Alps than I am in buying Iberia, so there's that.

The building in the background was extended with the grey construction this year. So the screenshot shows a more current version of the building than the google maps link
