You know you played too much ETS2/ATS when...
...you swear never to buy a Lincoln MKT since they're always found broken-down on the side of the road.
...when you pass by IRL roadwork or cop cars and firetrucks at a car crash, you go "Hey, ATS/ETS2 random event!"

Never heard of an MKT, and not sure how they relate to the game.
For me, I think I've played too much ATS when I managed to start driving trucks in reality and found backing to be a fun a puzzle rather than a stressful situation.

@bobgrey1997 - The MKT is a Lincoln crossover, it shows up for like 99% of the broken-down car random events.

Anytime steam tells me I've played more than 20 hours in a week! I think that's not a hobby, that's a part time job!
Due to Covid lockdowns I'm working from home full time now, so I only drive my car a couple of times a week and I get confused by the buttons on my steering wheel, they're in a different place to the buttons on my gaming wheel!

I always get confused by steering wheels in cars. I'll go to flash a truck as "clear to merge" (my steering wheel has a button to do this), and now the radio is louder or I am going faster.
I've once reached for the engine brake while coasting to a stop, and accidentally shifted gears.
When I finally realize cars don't have a flash headlight button, I go to flash the brights, but then the windshield gets all covered in water.

This signature virus has been spliced with the Fundementalism-B virus to create a new more contagious strain. Please look for it infecting a signature near you.

...you move to Portugal, but chooses Leiria, which is a real life ETS2 where everyone drives like Nemiro on Twitch
Proud student of Games and Multimedia in the Polytechnic of Leiria - the Portuguese capital of game development
(and still hopeful the city will feature in the game with a garage someday)

... you visit a place you've been first to in ATS/ETS2 and compare the real world counterpart to the simulator and not the other way around
