Level crossing south of Grand Coulee gives almost no warning

The train spawns too close. The lights turn on and the barriers come down at almost exactly the same time, giving you no time to react. I forgot to get coordinates. Sorry. I think the minimap is sufficient, though.

Reproduction is iffy. Sometimes it doesn’t seem to spawn a train at all, no matter how long you wait. Unloading the crossing and approaching anew might help. Messing with g_traffic doesn’t seem to help (it was set to 1 during the clip). Nevertheless, approaching from the east like this does often cause a train to spawn, and when it does it’s almost always this close. I used g_colbox 1 to show the physical state of the barrier.

Side note: during an unrecorded attempt, the train stopped for me until I reversed a little. I think that happens when you’re further forward and to the right. Maybe the detection distance is a bit fuzzy, because I don’t think that time I could’ve been much closer than this. Even though you’re clearly behind the barrier, physically blocked from entering the track, the train sees you as an obstacle. That’s another regular occurrence at level crossings in both games. I’ve seen it myself. I’ve seen confused streamers. It happens.
