Yeah, just something. A bump for expansion joints, a different height for bridges, different sounds for asphalt and concrete, new roads and old, etc. Vibration from tar seals, and the list goes on.

They can start small and work their way up.

This would add to the simulation aspect of the game, as this opens up for a more logical use of tire wear and damage to the chassis, suspension etc. Suspension is in place on vehicle because of uneven surfaces and road imperfections that would cause the alignment to go off the on wheels & axles. It makes no sense that a driving sim where 99.9% is spend on the roads and parking lots that there is no pot holes or even basic road imperfections like uneven surfaces and cracks simulated.

@TransTruckingUSA Not to mention that even on a perfect surface we are taking damage some how to our tires.

That part is OK and realistic. Even on 100% flat asphalt your tires would still wear. Wear isn't from road bumps but from rolling and weight on the tire. Hard braking, turning, accelerating of course speed up the wear.

Yes, but a completely worn tire is still perfectly usable in game. There is no reason to ever replace it.

Yeah, it's high time this is added to the sim. Texas DLC is coming but I can't say I'm excited. It will be the same old hover-driving, just in a different place. Improved road/truck physics would get me much more excited. They'd also encourage me to keep buying the DLC's.

I'm not sure if the weight stations will give you a fine for excessively worn tires in this game.

Perhaps, but a completely worn tire irl would put the truck out of service probably after it make braking and handling perilous.

A tiny fine for 100% worn tires is just another example of reality and this game being separated by an ocean.

Yes it seems that truckers run their tires to death. So many times I've seen shredded truck/trailer tires on highways.
