Oh yeah. Those things are all over the place, sometimes in the travel lane. It seems cheap retreads just disintegrate at high speed.

I would gladly pay double the price for the Texas DLC if it came with realistic / slightly bumpy roads and a driver camera that properly reacts. But given the current physics, I can't say I will jump on it. The game is getting a little stale with or without additional states.

Yeah, it's high time this is added to the sim. Texas DLC is coming but I can't say I'm excited. It will be the same old hover-driving, just in a different place. Improved road/truck physics would get me much more excited. They'd also encourage me to keep buying the DLC's.
If my RL tires went this quick in RL on the DAF i drove, i would ask my money back. Radials on a Trailer can reach around 40k miles in RL, and tractors depending on their application 25k - 50k miles. (Claim of up to 75k miles with care, before needing replacing, not being worn out of thread) I noticed cruising Texas i reached around 23k Miles on the tractor tires before my damage on them showed at 89% using a Cascadia, and im not an aggressive driver, i slow down in turns and at Rail crossing etc. I feel this number would look more real, if the roads had more noticeable imperfections for sure.

Incredibly, Extreme Trucker 2 had a feeling of road vibration, and yet, we don't. It's quite unrealistic now, but it'll be hilarious to have butter smooth roads in some of the future states like Michigan and Illinois.

Yeah. The glass-smooth SCS roads will especially be out of place there as with Michigan and other places with tough winters.

How's the Texas DLC? Do those long highway drives feel extra boring with the smooth roads? I'd imagine it would be more of an issue there than in the more mountainous western states where you see more hills and turns.

I mean I like SCS maps in general as it's the one part of the game that is better than competing options, but it's not really anything special. Smooth roads, limited traffic without scripts, tons of interesting decorative businesses, a number of repetitive deliverable companies, etc.

There are nice interchanges, but it's the same game in a new place.

My longest drive across was in convoy, so it was hard to notice some stuff with all of the shenanigans lol.

The HOR DLC is not canceled , only postponed to another unknown date ! or if HOR canceled they will withdraw to the steam store and other sites! there have already been other video games that have experienced a few months or years of delay for other reasons!
