Salt Lake City: although the traffic is underwhelming, it feels like a big city with all the lanes.

SLC should be my favorite but due to the unrealistic underwhelming mountains around it I rarely bother driving there in game. It needs an overhaul.seriousmods wrote: ↑05 Mar 2022 06:59 Salt Lake City: although the traffic is underwhelming, it feels like a big city with all the lanes.

For now, my favorite city is in Sacramento, CA, where my relative stays at.

Yeah, the mountains could be improved as well.koolizz wrote: ↑05 Mar 2022 10:10SLC should be my favorite but due to the unrealistic underwhelming mountains around it I rarely bother driving there in game. San Francisco is probably my favorite 2016-spec base game city. It's got most of the famous landmarks and thus actually looks like SF (SD and LA look and feel like generic small towns). Coming into the city on the bridge passing Treasure Island is nice. Plus you actually can drive in the city, as opposed to bypassing it like say Portland or SLC.

I think either Jackson or Denver is my favorite city.
SCS did a fantastic job recreating Jackson's feel, plus the Jackson Hole valley might be the most well-made area of either game, it's that good. I think they put part of WY-22 in the game just to tease me, as WY-22 to ID-33 is one of my favorite mountain passes
Denver does an excellent job at tricking the player into thinking it's larger than it is. I don't have to wonder where the people live, as you get a sense that people actually have houses in Denver proper as well as the suburbs featured. Some great interchanges, solid industry including the airport, and pretty darn good mountain models make Denver an all-around great city. If Denver can be the baseline quality level for Texas's Big 6 cities, then I think we're in for a treat.
I do have a feeling that more than one reworked California city is gonna challenge for the top spot. Sacramento is already looking great, and I'm sure the Bay Area rework is gonna knock our socks off.

Portland. Driveable, cool interchanges, cool bridges, skyline.

@oldmanclippy Jackon is one of my favorite cities in the game, it's so well made and on top of that all the roads heading there are amazing as well, I can see Jackson to Cody (so long as it's marked like it should be) being my favoruite journey in the game. Jackson to Salmon is pretty damn good to, though I can't wait for Montana to open Salmon up some more.

Elko and Ontario (Oregon) for its industries and location.
And Spokane for the same reasons but just feels like a home to me in game oddly.
Worst would have to be Portland with big loop around. Wish they could just make a short cut so you don't waste an hour to hour and a half in game to get from one side to the other.

Still Denver, will always be Denver.
In a world full of swift drivers, I'm an O/O.
