[WIP] [Rel] Paris 1:1 Map [1.49]

Forum rules
SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.
Posting in the Mods forum (ATS and ETS2) is restricted to sharing free-to-the-public mods and providing support for mods. For more details, please check the Forum Rules.

The alpha mod will be released by the end of January (I'm taking a break in February, to play Hogwarts Legacy ;-))
It will go on sharemods, and I'll post the link in the forum as soon as it is released, and also in the ETS2 mods site.

The first day of going public is finally here:

Please unzip the files first and read the manual. There's only a limited number of starting locations available, and these are listed there.

This is a working draft, released only because it will take years to finish the project. You are driving with the understanding that the map is unfinished, and not debugged.
But with that said - I hope you enjoy it.

Game crash in this area:

Hey, I just crashed t odesktop about three times in that location. It was not always at the exactly same point, it happened always some meters after the crash before.

Edit: I did not chache the value in the config file. I think this was the reason because now I could drive without problems.

What exactly does this value do?
If something is not round, it has then edges or it is broken.

Hi,

I'm glad you resolved your issue.

I also had problems with crashes around the metro Château Rouge, until I changed the config line “uset r_buffer_page_size” and set the value to 30. That resolved it for me, so I added it into the manual.
I think it refers to the memory allocated? The default is 10 to allow for older PCs. Guidance for some other mods e.g. Ro Extended have the same line, to improve FPS and avoid crashes.
