[REL] Peterbilt 359 - RELEASE!

SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.
Posting in the Mods forum (ATS and ETS2) is restricted to sharing free-to-the-public mods and providing support for mods. For more details, please check the Forum Rules.

Wow! This project looks absolutely amazing!

I really hope it will include a coffin-sleeper option, a short chassis both for day-cab and sleeper options and perhaps a 289 4x2 version at some point!

Cheers!

@Outlaw Transport Yep, those were the main ones though you also have the 1693 and 1673/1674 cats for the older ones along with the many two stroke Detroits from both the Series 71 and Series 92 families in both naturally aspirated and turbo'd forms. Even the V903/VT903 Cummins, 3408 cat, and KTA Cummins were avaliable. The B Model Cats would have been available but it came out during the final years of the 359's production run though many were repowered with them when their older engines blew.

@SlavJerry That's a pretty good Naturally Aspirated Sound. Perhaps also make one with a Turbo too.

@SlavJerry You could just use a turbo sound file from another engine. The real audio difference between the NA and turbo'd versions is the turbo'd versions are noticably quieter. At some point in time I'll too start releasing sound mods. I'm sitting on nearly 300 different engine ratings across the various brands and have pulled all the sound files from Kreichbaum's engine sound mods as well as older sound files from some of the truck mods like the 9800 International. All of my sound mods will be derived where I use a similar engine from the same manufacturer to derive the sounds from like making a C-12 sound mod from the C-15 or the E7 Mack from the E6, so they won't be truly authentic.

I think Kreich had a E7 a while back but the video of it is no longer on his channel

Looks very promising. Any plans for a doonan sleeper cap or a double eagle bunk? I think that would be awesome! :D
