SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.
Posting in the Mods forum (ATS and ETS2) is restricted to sharing free-to-the-public mods and providing support for mods. For more details, please check the Forum Rules.

It does look a bit slanted towards the back though.

Re: [WIP] Peterbilt 359
The way the game interprets normal maps in the interior is so very annoying.
For those unaware, normal maps are basically "faked" creases and shapes using an image, as opposed to physically modeling them. The tradeoff is generally a slightly worse look in exchange for everything else being better; computer resources in particular as it can turn stupid complex geometry into just a few corners.
So for large repetitive patterns, like the square vinyl draped around every inch of the 359, they are a godsend in theory. Except the nmaps always look complete shit in this game when you use them in the interior.
I was really hoping I didn't have to manually do this, but it's just not looking good enough when I don't. On the flipside, this is going to improve the look of the interior significantly.
Here's a comparison - (right one obviously being the crappy version) - and it's not even close to as bad looking here as it is in the game.

In other news, things are moving along at a serious pace and I'm looking forward to being able to share some real in game shots soon.
I don't want to start throwing around deadlines or dates but hopefully I'll have something for y'all sooner than you think.

Re: [WIP] Peterbilt 359
Mr.Outlaw Transportation, Would there be any way we could possibly get a TriDrive for this beautiful 359? You know, for those of us that wanna have a really BAD A looking truck but like to haul those HEAVY loads.
