Re: [REL] Peterbilt 359 - RELEASE!
Love the truck, especially once i got the engine sounds I wanted.
Only think that bugs me and it's really minor is the rear fenders with clip with the tires on bumps. Now I don't use the rear suspension raise /lower so that might be why but it does it even just unloaded. I drive 3rd person a lot so it's more noticeable to me.
Also just a small discrepancy with the spacing on the bull bar nodes? the pass side the spacing is different, if this intentional i do apologize.
Just wanted to mention it oh and a cruise control light on the dash would be cool thanks!

Re: [REL] Peterbilt 359 - RELEASE!
I drove a Pete back in the early 80s like that with the curved dash on the driver's and passenger's side. I can't remember the model tho. It also had the bigger stand-up sleeper, 18 speed, and a 425 Cat under the hood. Because of the color we called it the Grape Ape. This is one I will drive.

This truck is amazing, but the GPS is very unclear. Is there no way to use the same GPS as SiSL or SCS Software?

hi @Outlaw Transport .
I do not know if I can play using this look like awesome truck because the real size looks is too much according size of the other modded trucks.
with all respect to you, Outlaw, 2 GB it is too huge IMO.
Is there a way to reduce the size (but not using zip ;-D) ? some kind of optimization did by like RJL/Smarty/Harven...
I saw other trucks using 300 MB, 700 MB and it looks like too big/slow to my pc even using SSD
regards

Re: [REL] Peterbilt 359 - RELEASE!
@Theosz Where did you get that size from? The file weighs 405 mb.
I speak English fluently... with a dictionary!
Re: [REL] Peterbilt 359 - RELEASE!
Hi @DimanUSA.
I was feeling that was too slow to load the mod.
when opening the .scs file using 7-zip for example. Checking actual folder size.
The 405mb is zipped, compressed. Inside 7-zip it shows the actual size that should be compressed when this occurs. Normally mod files are stored without compression to increase FPS, but some are compressed and then ATS/ETS2 has to uncompress

Re: [REL] Peterbilt 359 - RELEASE!
that isnt true at all, the game loads as fast with or without compression, i have many mods in zip format and many just a folder and there is no difference, only sound files are not allowed to be compressed, if you loose performance because of compression you should upgrade your CPU
loading time ingame only increases because of number of files loaded, not because of the size of them

Re: [REL] Peterbilt 359 - RELEASE!
The files being compressed or not don't have absolutely anything to do with "FPS", is just how high quality the 3D models are, most of the file size comes from textures and paintjobs because most modders use high quality textures and high resolution paintjobs, the game takes longer to load a profile when you have too many mods installed but file size has nothing to do with it.
Re: [REL] Peterbilt 359 - RELEASE!
What about compatibility with cabin accessories?
Re: [REL] Peterbilt 359 - RELEASE!
Hoping for compatibility with cabin accessories to, other than that it's a great truck, I absolutely love driving it
