SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.

Re: [REL] Peterbilt 359 - RELEASE!
If you want to keep the conversation on the 359 then maybe stop pointing out others mistakes...... Just a suggestion. I make enough through the day to worry about someone else's lol. (This is non-judgemental also)
Re: [REL] Peterbilt 359 - RELEASE!
@PBandJ I hear you, however I did originally keep it on topic in the first place by reaffirming what the end-user was having a problem with, and then provided a correction at the very end. Those who then only responded regarding only the corrections were being off-topic.
You can write almost any way you want, and you might make yourself understood.
But, if you don't use standard English properly, you would also help people understand that you aren't well educated.

Re: [REL] Peterbilt 359 - RELEASE!
I notice in the first post that the truck is compatible with Zeemods engine and interior sound pack. I've added this truck to the 3408 open def file, but non of Zee's motors show up. Wondering what I'm doing wrong. Thanks
Re: [REL] Peterbilt 359 - RELEASE!
Hi, you meed the Compatibility Mods (page 1):
Kreichbaum Engines Compatibility
Zeemods Engine Compatibility (paid engines)
Zeemods Peterbilt Interior Sounds Compatibility
activate it, incl the zeemods mod you wish and ready to go.
Always drive safely and appropriately - in simulation as well as in real life

Re: [REL] Peterbilt 359 - RELEASE!
@ChiliBeef no offence taken here. But outlaws truck is a beauty, even with my phantom mirrors. Respectfully as this is freeware, i would like to see the centre strip added on the bonnet. Both the paid for ones i own, have it. So i am guessing most of the real world 359's did as well.
But i am far from being an expert, in regards NA trucks.

Re: [REL] Peterbilt 359 - RELEASE!
@Dogbert I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard to add a center strip along the nose, but I'm not sure of what plans @Outlaw Transport has for his truck.

Re: [REL] Peterbilt 359 - RELEASE!
Not sure if it's an "only on my end" type of thing, but the interior view is misaligned with the exterior 3D model. In order to have the truck accurately centered in the lane I have to plant the driver's seat square in the middle of the lane as well. I should be sitting a little off to the left. But if I drive it normally from the interior perspective I find myself riding the center line or the yellow line instead. It seems like there's a misalignment of 1.5 to 2 feet.

Ha! Never mind. Just had to read back far enough.Malchaeus wrote: ↑27 Nov 2022 17:36 Not sure if it's an "only on my end" type of thing, but the interior view is misaligned with the exterior 3D model.
