While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.

@jackpeterbilt : yes I had the same thing. It seems that the 359 uses some default *.mat files from the SCS Peterbilt 389 and in 1.47 these SCS 389 mat files have different names.

In the truck manager I have a problem with the shadow (with the 2 May update)

The aircleaners are fixed, they do not interfere with the SCS 389 anymore.

Quote removed - Don't quote images - Rule 2.3

Makes sense why I was seeing GMOD no textures on SCS 389 and the shadow of the 359 was also GMOD no texture.
Gonna download new update.

I've been telling people about this issue with the .mat files since the release of 1.47, but some people refuse to believe it. What bugs me the most is SCS hasn't or won't make a statement about it and also they haven't updated their wiki mod page about it or don't know it's happening I guess.
Quite a few modders have figured it out on their own and know what's causing it and fixed it.

This is the error in the .mat file that's causing the glitch.

Quote "The line in the materials that are not used anymore [aux] For some reason SCS removed the support to these and now that shows in the log as a error, I fixed in my trailers by removing each line in my materials that contains this error, so the game log was clean again. Like I say you have to find all materials that use this and take rid of it, or maybe re export the models I do believe blender don't use that anymore, and it will export without this error. Sorry If my explanation seems to be superficial, probably redacted can explain better than that."

I found conflict issue with the 359. There are a few texture issues that are caused by it, most notably the bullbar and oversized load banner on the 389. If anyone knows a fix, let me know.

I take it that v1.0.3 on atsmods.it. Is an unauthorised release, Outlaw Transport.

I see that too, but the last time I try warning the original creator (in ets 2 topic) don't go cool. I won a beautiful one strike, wtf? Anyway.

Hey Outlaw, I have a question but.
Did the Peterbilt 359 ever come with optional beacons for the sleeper and/or daycab?
Or was this never a thing.

Was just curious if you are planning on adding beacons to this truck someday in the future.
Would be awesome to see optional beacons for this truck.
