Volvo F series sound mod 1.0

SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.

Your mod doesn't work out of the box, it has to be re-zipped using 'store only'. Besides that I like it very much. Although I use it for XBS's Daf F241 it goes well with it. :)

There's no actual need to share, it's easily done yourself.

1. Open the Volvo F series sound mod (don't extract!)
2. Copy either the F10 or F12 folder to your desktop or wherelse (located in volvo_f_sound_mod_1.0.scs\def\vehicle\truck\ )
3 Rename that copied folder to daf.f241
4. Move your renamed folder into the def folder (see number 2)
5. Enjoy.
6. Did you make a backup of the original file?

I also recommend you do the same with the interior sound profile, since the mod uses a custom one.
