Re: ATS 1.44 Discussion
I beg to differ tho. There were a few times when I could use a lowered tractor unit because the trailer was too low. I can’t really recall where because I do only dryvans/reefers/tarps for more than a year, but I vaguely remember they were lowboys from Coastline Mining, Deepgrove or smth like that, places with uneven dirt yards. And because I use the Anthem, rising the chassis is also useful because this thing is low as heck and gets damaged in places I wouldn’t normally think it would, like the farms in Spokane or Burlington. Maybe this feature is not useful everyday, but it’s not useless.

Re: ATS 1.44 Discussion
Am I correct in understanding that what's expected in a Lodeking dlc are all flatbed/lowboy/drop deck kind of trailers, no refrigerated/box/curtain sider stuff?

@Underscore_101_ They don't do those trailers. The curtain one idk. It could have a curtain option for the stepdeck.

Hoppers and flatbeds, that’s what they do. https://www.lodeking.com/

Re: ATS 1.44 Discussion
that's a bit of a shame then, hope SCS can find another company that does those then, like Great Dane or something.
I'd love to see more variety in refrigerated/box/curtain sider stuff like we have in ETS2, mainly to have more choices in paint jobs (by way of modding) on them when doing freight market jobs.
edit, based on what @pigbrother said, hoppers would be nice though.

LudoModding, might be things that could be added in the future, regarding the adjustable suspensions.
NTM's B-Double Telescopic Skeletal Container Carrier. Youtube video on how it works. W & S thread.
B-Double trailer and short modes: EN 7.82 swap body, 20’ or 30’ containers.
Standalone 40' mode: EN 7.82 swap body, 20', 30', 40' or 2 x 20' trailer.

Did you mean that the game forced you by a message to lower or raise your suspensions to hook a trailer?
Or did you do it yourself for the PR side? Because I'm telling you once again I delivered more than 50 loads this weekend with various trailers and the game never asked me to raise or lower the suspension to hook a trailer.

Re: ATS 1.44 Discussion
The game does not "ask" you to do it...
You'll notice you'll have to do it when you don't get under the trailer because of a height mismatch or because of the terrain. If you haven't had that situation yet, that's your luck.

Ok I just saw some but it also tells me that sometimes the game forces us to lower the suspensions otherwise we can't hang, but I haven't had that situation yet lol.

Re: ATS 1.44 Discussion
I think it shows the message when you approach the trailer a bit to the side instead of along the centerline, or at a bad angle.
I don’t know what “force us to lower the suspension” means. Coupling is coupling.
