ATS 1.44 Open Beta!!
Changes:
- The long awaited California rework Phase II! Eureka, Ukiah, Redding, Sacramento, and Truckee were all given a total redo, and San Rafael bows out of our trucking lives.
- Refunds are automatically given to players who have modded parts removed from their trucks because the mods are missing or uninstalled.
- New UI indicators in the parts list show if a particular option is factory or licensed from the manufacturer, or an aftermarket customization.
- Unmarked Roads will now show up as dotted lines in the game map as you discover them, so you can remember where those secret routes are and return to them later.
- Force feedback has been greatly improved to add more realistic handling and feel.
- A smart sequential shifting option has been added that allows the sequential shifter to shift up/down more than one gear at a time, as needed.
- The interior camera is now locked horizontally, independent of the truck cab, making bumpy roads and hills feel more realistic as the camera focuses on what's happening outside rather than in the cab. Finally, our truckers have their neck braces removed!
- Adjustable suspension height has been added to allow truckers to raise or lower their trucks as needed for lower trailers or bumpy terrain. By default this automatically returns to standard height after a certain speed, but this can be changed through the consul command "g_suspension_auto_reset 0" (no quotes)
- Drop-deck trailers are added and ownable for American Truckers!
- The Freightliner Cascadia has new interior options for the MY2022 version.
- Eight new special transport routes have been added all across the map!
- New Mexico received some unexpected love with boarder control stations and city network updates.
