Truckers of Europe 3 is a very impressive game: it has a number of graphics and other features that I would love to see in ETS. There are tire tracks, dirt on vehicles, cargo physics, and like you mentioned rain reflections.

But, the rest looks like a cartoon, not realistic at all. It's very easy to put on overly effects on a crappy background, because they doesn't need to look good as long as you get the "effect" - something happens.

You should visit a doctor and check your eyes, or even simpler: just leave your computer for a while and go outside and look around. Does the real world look that blurry and gloomy to you? If yes, go to the doctor and get some glasses

First you say it looks like a cartoon, then you say it looks gloomy. I've never seen a gloomy cartoon, so I don't think you can figure out how to criticize it, but you have to find something.abasstreppas wrote: ↑04 Jul 2022 22:00 You should visit a doctor and check your eyes, or even simpler: just leave your computer for a while and go outside and look around. But yes, normally when it rains, the weather is gloomy, especially in the evening.

This game, in some aspects, manages to overcome ats/ets. "Ah, but this doesn't feel as real as it does in the ATS." Come on, this game is for mobile...seriousmods wrote: ↑04 Jul 2022 21:40You must watch some impressive cartoons!abasstreppas wrote: ↑04 Jul 2022 20:01 But, the rest looks like a cartoon, not realistic at all. Yeah, lol: for a mobile game, it looks quite good and in some ways has a few advantages over ETS2. Not many, but a few.SouthernMan wrote: ↑04 Jul 2022 22:41 This game, in some aspects, manages to overcome ats/ets. "Ah, but this doesn't feel as real as it does in the ATS." - The interior light is a nice touch
- The puddles and water reflections look quite nice in the rain
- Traffic doesn't follow exact paths on the road: it can swerve at times and come into your lane
- The physics and sounds are quite impressive, especially for a mobile game, but just for a game
- Particularly for tires, I lost control and jackknifed: felt like I had to focus more
- Hands on the wheel are optional, but I have them on
- The truck and trailer get dirty from driving around
- The interior has imperfections that look like it's been used

Yes, indeed there are many things to consider. It is obvious that if we consider the advantages and disadvantages, ATS/ETS is much better. But there's a problem with that, because small details like, for example, a simple puddle of water, would definitely make a big difference in ATS, and it has in a simple mobile game.

Yes, the little things always add up, even if the game only has little things. Just like Alaskan Truck Simulator. It's a terrible game overall, but being able to click a switch on the dash is a nice option (if it's an option which I don't think it initially is/was).SouthernMan wrote: ↑04 Jul 2022 22:50 Yes, indeed there are many things to consider.
