2003-2006 Ford Expedition (U222)
The restyled second-gen Expedition keeps up with its modern-era look and has various trims that you see here. This is one vehicle you certainly don't want to miss.

The third-gen Expedition was redesigned for the late-aughts and was given a long-wheelbase model to boot.

Even though the current WRX does not have a STi variant to speak of, the updated model still has the magic it had on previous models.

2010-2016 Cadillac SRX (GMT166)
The second-gen SRX was a common sight back when this model hit the scene in 2009. With its sleek design, the SRX was good for its time, though it's nothing special nowadays. It's interesting to note that this model also underpinned the ill-fated Saab 9-4X, which was cut down when the brand collapsed, leaving behind just a few hundred examples.

A streamlined Range Rover model made to impress and is applicable to ETS2.

2020-present BMW X6 (G06)
The third-gen model of the X6, a vehicle likened to an "alien warship" by car journalists, has tech upgrades and practicality to work with (except for its infotainment system). I've listed both its standard and X6 M Comp models.

2020-present BMW X6 M Competition (F96) - Expensive, super aggressive, and not designed for off-road use. The X6 M Comp can accelerate to 60 quickly. Also works for Road Trip.

2019-present Lexus UX (ZA10)
Though the UX, a lifted hatchback, was specifically designed for global markets, these models were sold in North America as well. A decent value story and hybrid engine options round out the positives.

Also, since December is the last month of the year, we will have to wind down on new suggestions until January. Mid-December is when I'll temporarily suspend new submissions until mid-January. So don't expect anything new until then when that week comes.

2012-2019 Fiat 500 (312)
Fiat's compact, iconic 500 - introduced in 2007 - was popular enough to warrant an appearance in North America. It was popular back when it launched in 2012, with 40,000 sold in that year alone. Sales since then collapsed, and by 2019 it was out of American shores. It did come back, as an EV form for 2024, but sales are still stagnant. Today, it's a cult classic in its hatchback, cabrio and its wild Abarth model.

2017-2024 Audi A5 B9 (Type F5)
For this entry we will focus on the conventional coupe model that was sold between 2007 and 2024 through two generations. Audi's A5 was a coupe form of the A4, and it was a modestly popular two-door vehicle of choice as well as its convertible model. Shown here is the 2017 model.

2018-2024 Audi RS 5 Coupe B9 (Type F5)
The second iteration of the powerful RS 5 coupe is still a firmly-attainable vehicle to this day, and the 2018 model, powered by a downsized V-6 engine shared with the not-for-America RS 4 Avant, can still turn heads. The Crew 2 and Forza have this as a drivable vehicle, and if Road Trip becomes successful enough, we could get this as a pack.

2020-present Mazda 3 (BP)
Sleek, gorgeous and refined to the touch, the latest-gen 3 is a masterclass of having an attractive design and functional drive experience. A lifted hatchback exists as the CX-30, and there is a sedan model included. It is fully transferrable to ETS2 since it is also sold there.

2021-present Ford F-150 (P702)
Yes, we know we are getting a licensed model courtesy of Road Trip, but sadly, that licensed model isn't coming as a traffic vehicle. Which is why I am offering to include a slightly edited version of the 2021 model of the popular F-150 truck for AI traffic, which was sold in large numbers (and it's sold in Australia too!). This model, plus the Raptor model, will be added to coexist with the previous-gen model that is in ATS. This model will serve as a replacement model for the multipurpose AI vehicle for special transport models plus its traffic maintenance model. Wouldn't it be nice?

2006-2012 Land Rover Range Rover Sport (L320)
Built off a design study from the Range Stormer concept in 2004, the Range Rover Sport was introduced a year afterwards. The streamlined Range Rover came to the US in 2006 and given various trims, including a supercharged model. It's nothing special now, but these models can still exist for ATS. This is also worth adding to ETS2.

2020-2025 Hyundai Palisade (LX2)
In Hyundai's first three-row SUV, the eye of the beholder is present and accounted for. The Palisade in its Calligraphy trim should work given the luxury trim we really need. It is sold in some other countries such as Australia, but for now this will have to be ATS only. It was updated in 2023 with an edgier look.

2019-present Cadillac XT4
Cadillac revealed the XT4 in 2019 to meet the growing demand for SUVs large and wide, and unfortunately, there isn't much to say about its awkward design. Its forgettable driving dynamics and lackluster interior make this an average compact utility vehicle. Original 2019 model shown. This model was also ported in other countries including Europe and Japan.

2023-present Kia Sportage (NQ5) (North American variant)
A redesigned Kia Sportage was revealed back in 2021 and was designed for European markets and the like. In 2022, Kia created a noticeably longer Sportage model that was specifically designed for American tastes in mind. This model shown below is what we'd use as a base for the 2023 model year Sportage CUV. I plan to add a separate model for EU markets in the meantime, so the two won't be the same model. It was updated in 2025 and 2026 respectively.

1971-1973 Ford Mustang
At the start of the seventies, the Mustang was given a significant redesign and was larger than its previous years. This muscle car has a multitude of trims to start with, including basic models all the way to the racuous Mach 1 model, alongside optional equipment such as spoilers, hood scoops, several rim types and a variety of gas powered engines from the I6 to the iconic V-8 OHV engines. Bodystyles include the traditional two-door coupe, a sportsroof model, a convertible model, and the model varies on a year-by-year basis. 1973 models saw the turn signals being clustered to the grille partition. These models were the last of the full-size Mustangs prior to the oil crisis in '73. And there's a lot of variants to pick from.

2000-2006 Lincoln LS
This modest luxury sedan has quite an interesting, but tragic history. In 2000, when parent company Lincoln's sales were floundering, Ford sought to add in a model specifically designed for that sport luxury cachet. The LS, which was introduced that year, promised a well-appointed suspension setup, a rear-wheel drive layout and a voracious manual transmission. Built off the DEW98 platform that was also present on the Jaguar S-Type and the retro Ford Thunderbird, the Lincoln LS gained praise for its balance and styling and undercut competitors on its pricing alongside having either a V-6 or a V-8 engine option. But it fell short, as the manual was limited to the six-cylinder model and then dropped after 2003. It was also rather lackluster in terms of build quality and Lincoln's momentum stalled out with this model, limiting it to incremental outputs and no performance model. These weak factors made the LS a forgettable sedan we know now. The model itself was dropped in 2006, being replaced by the Zephyr - which itself is built off the cheap Fusion platform it shared with its Ford and Mercury models of the same period.

2011-present Dodge Durango (WD)
One of the reasons why we need this Dodge Durango model is this: Police have them as their cop fleet in some areas, namely Georgia. The third-gen Durango, based off the Grand Cherokee format, still soldiers on for 15 consecutive years with a variety of variants including a SRT model being introduced in 2018 and a Hellcat model at the start of the 2020s. You won't regret it. 2014 facelift models shown below.

2010-2013 Mitsubishi Lancer Sportback (CX)
Considered a weird hatchback by default, the Lancer Sportback - one of the last Mitsubishi models to go under that traditional hatchback design - was more or less a cult fave. Not a whole lot of them were sold here, but I would want to see this come to light someday in both continents.

2018-2024 Ford Expedition (U553)
Redesigned for 2018, the fourth-gen Expedition is a marvelous family hauler built to last. A ten-speed came standard and later on, many new trim variants. We have ignored this for too long and now we need this and its Lincoln variant.

As with the Expedition, the third-gen Navigator has reasonable build quality, decent powertrains, and it has its own long-wheelbase model.

For 2018, the fourth-gen Navigator was a radically different model and one with a phenomenal redesign. The SUV, which is largely unchanged from the 2016 concept, boasts lots of luxury and technology updates, and is considered the top dog among luxury SUVs.

1992-1996 Honda Prelude (BB)
For the 90s, the Honda Prelude coupe held its own as one of the most customizable vehicles in the early tuner scene. These high-qualities, including a venerated VTEC engine offered in some trims, make this a mid-range collector's item well over 30 years on. For now, we will focus on the NA-spec models.

2020-2026 Kia Telluride (ON)
Meet the second three-row SUV offering from Kia themselves. Only available in North America, the Telluride was a critically acclaimed SUV with panache. The Telluride won MotorTrend's 2020 SUV of the Year and saw various updates over its six year run. Shown here is the 2023 facelift in X-Pro guise.

2014-2020 Lexus IS (XE30)
With the third-gen model, the IS saw a lot of edge in its redesign and the F Sport models shown below can prove that statement. The IS 350 model has been in a few Forza games.

2018-2024 Buick Enclave (GMTC1YB)
The redesigned 2018 Enclave, as shown below, is a looker. This is our chance to include more variants of this Buick SUV since it is needed for variety purposes.

2020-present Cadillac XT6 (GMTC1TL)
As Cadillac's first three-row SUV, the XT6 Luxury has a lot to like with its comfortable ride and elegant exterior design, and yet another SUV to add into ATS. This model was also known for its wild commercials when this came out. Compared to other SUVs within its tribe, though, it falls short as well as a dated interior design, and only one engine option (3.6 V6 with 310 hp and 271 lb-ft).

2022-present Mercedes-Benz C-Class Sedan (W206)
For North America in general, Mercedes-Benz only sells the regular C-Class sedan there. This updated model offers a wide variety of tech and powertrain additions. Though the Euro models are better since you do get better variety and a wagon model.

2013-2020 Ford Fusion (CD391)
Based on the global Mondeo platform, the Fusion - which is only available in sedan format - was built for mass-market appeal. Not much else to say about this and of the facelift model, and the Fusion was eventually dropped from the North America market after 2020, by which the SUV market had taken over.

2013-2020 Lincoln MKZ (CD533)
The Lincoln equivalent was slightly better, but still mediocre. For 2017, it brought a significant redesign and stayed on until the end of the 2010s. The MKZ was also out of American shores by the end of 2020, and it was replaced by the redesigned Zephyr, which is only available in China.

2005-2012 Nissan Pathfinder (R51)
This was Nissan's last body-on-frame Pathfinder and the model, based on the Frontier pickup truck, had a good run worldwide, including the US. Think of this as the Armada's smaller cousin - both models are based on their pickup architecture.

2012-2017 Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 (Rare exotic supercar)
Since we'd like to welcome more exotic rides, the Aventador might as well provide. At a base price over $400,000, I don't expect this rare Italian supercar to be common at all. I highly recommend a very low spawn rate. This is also a very complex vehicle to model as well, as well as having different rim sizes, so this may be challenging. Also applicable to ETS2.

This is my favorite generation of Expedition; the overall design, interior, space, everything about it is great.

I think it was even better when they refreshed it in 2015 for the 15-17 model years, and gave it the relatively new 3.5 EcoBoost V6, and the same gauge cluster from the Ford Fusion as well as an 8 inch infotainment display on higher-end models.

This post wraps up the year with some cool rides - and maybe some that aren't - that would love to be companions in the AI traffic flow. I will resume suggestions in early January, but our picks will have to be smaller this time around. Here, I have handpicked five models worth adding to ATS.

2025-present Audi A5 B10 (Liftback only)
The newfound A5 abandons the two-door coupe and convertible design in favor of a streamlined liftback shape. Yet in spite of this, the A5 still has its chops and is still a decent vehicle in its common trim that is sold to the general public. North America only gets the liftback, whereas Europe and elsewhere get the liftback and the wagon.

2022-present Lucid Air
California-based startup company Lucid got its start with the Air concept in late 2016. Six years later, the Air went into limited production mostly unchanged, and the super-elegant EV has a place as a moderately-low spawning vehicle. It is also sold in Europe. The coolest Air would be the 1,234-hp Sapphire, which I would consider adding to Road Trip - though it would require EV charging.

2025-present Ford Expedition (U717)
Newly rebuilt this year is the fourth-gen Expedition. Rugged, durable and up to date, the long-running full-size SUV definitely deserves its place in ATS. As with previous models I have penned both its regular model and the Max long wheelbase model.

2025-present BMW X3 (G45)
Sleek and fashionable, the current-gen X3 is a sight to behold and it has a softer side. This model is also applicable to ETS2.

2016-2019 Cadillac ATS-V Coupe
While we do have the consumer ATS in the game, it would be great to expand the model lore into the world. Like this ATS-V Coupe, which was meant as a replacement for the CTS-V Coupe and has a downsized engine. Forza, despite its uncertain future, has this very model since the third Horizon entry.

I don't really get this kind of proposals. When we started this thread we identified gaps in AI and made proposals.
SCS has taken up our suggestions.
Why should we now read about the whole US traffic again and again?! I fear with this overload SCS will not really follow the suggestion.
I suggest we come back to identify gaps again.

Since I was able to play the game again, here are some small suggestions for traffic expansions:
A tandem axle box truck (even if it would be the old mack). All existing box trucks are very small.

Small semis for the 1 axle trailers. Would give the local delivery system more realism.

Since we got more police and ambulance cars, any additional fire brigade vehicle. I suggested a ladder after starting the thread. But a ladder would look q in the accident scenes. But it would be great in front of the fire stations.

Give us a MB Sprinter box van based on the caravan (or any other box behind cab van) please.
