Today's blogpost shows that we are now getting tourist trucks for the Grand Canyon:

We're also getting coach liveries - something that was actually requested here!

Re: Proposal of typical vehicles for AI traffic that are still missing (tbc)
I see three interesting opportunities here.
1. Expand the tour jeeps to Death Valley, Yellowstone, etc. This vehicles exist in RL.
[ external image ]
[ external image ]
2. If SCS can let a car spawn around a National Park it could also be time for Park Rangers.
[ external image ]
[ external image ]
EDIT: I btw made a list for Park Rangers a while ago.
Montana
Glacier National Park
Yellowstone National Park
Texas
Big Bend National Park
Guadalupe Mountains National Park
Arkansas
Hot Springs National Park
Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, Missouri, Iowa, Louisiana
This states have no U.S. National Parks with the official National Park designation. But they have a few National Park Service (NPS) sites and protected areas - but maybe too small to let cars spawn.
Looking at the largest or most notable NPS natural/park areas in Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, Arkansas, Missouri, Iowa, and Louisiana, the top five would be:
- Chickasaw National Recreation Area (Oklahoma) – large, heavily visited, classic Park Ranger presence
- Tallgrass Prairie National Preserve (Kansas) – expansive prairie with NPS oversight
- Agate Fossil Beds & Scotts Bluff (Nebraska) – scenic natural landmarks
- Jean Lafitte National Historical Park & Preserve (Louisiana) – large protected wetlands and cultural area
I btw find Park Ranger a useful addition for the Road Trip DLC.
2. The update of the new coach should be the end of the old MC 12. But it could spawn rare in it's latest white look. This one's are more likely to be seen in traffic than a Greyhound MC 12.
[ external image ]
A MC 102 lookalike would be also possible

Here are a few ideas that would make AI traffic even more realistic and lively.
Adding this always half self-made and half overloaded looking landscape service trucks (often with trailers).

[ external image ]
Or their crap collecting brothers
[ external image ]
[ external image ]
RVs towing a car

Tow trucks in action

And this little flatbeds for pickup trucks

Just updated the first post. Now people can see what we got from SCS
Edit: also expanded my suggestion for ETS2 vehicles in ATS.

Re: Proposal of typical vehicles for AI traffic that are still missing (tbc)
Here is today's AI vehicle proposals. I apologize for the very long wait. Enjoy.
2021-2024 Jaguar F-Type (X152)
The third facelift and restyling of the now-discontinued F-Type, which was offered in a digital dashboard. Both the coupe and convertible will provide.

2025-present Lincoln Navigator (We got it! Though it likely could've been in development long ago)
Much like the current-gen Expedition, the Navigator was restyled last year and it is still the gorgeous luxury SUV you see today with both its short and long wheelbase models.

Navigator L
[ external image ]
[ external image ]
2019-present Ram 1500 (DT)
Even though we are getting a fully licensed model for Road Trip, this model sadly won't be used as an AI vehicle anywhere. What I can provide for SCS is an edited version of this very truck for AI traffic, which will be offered in various trims a la BeamNG. This planned unlicensed model will also be used as a service truck and, in the near future, be a replacement vehicle for escort vehicles in Special Transport. Would you like this?
[ external image ]
[ external image ]
2021-present Mercedes-Benz GLA (H247)
As with the Euro counterparts, the GLA was sold in North America.
[ external image ]
[ external image ]
1977-1983 BMW 3-series (E21)
Is there a more iconic old-school BMW model like this? This coupe model, released back in the late 70s, succeeded after the 2002 and has been popular since then, with a multitude of variants and engine options. The 323i shown here courtesy of BMW Classic should provide a reference point, though it should be noted that US-spec models are slightly different (this being additional lights to comply with North American laws, and rear license plate mounting). This is also applicable to ETS2, though manage your expectations.

I'd also like to see another bike to be included as a parked vehicle/prop (and hopefully movable AI car) in the future, as shown below.
1997 Honda CBR 1100 XX Blackbird - A highly sought-after superbike made in Japan with a brash personality. This is also known as the "Super Blackbird" in domestic Japan, Europe, and Canada. Ride 2 model shown.

There was a time the new AI vehicles were announced on the blog as well. Wish we could have this back

I know. And I'm like: this is great news. I want to see it on the block. The AI traffic community would highly appreciate it

Re: Proposal of typical vehicles for AI traffic that are still missing (tbc)
Here are some more vehicles to consider add into ATS in the future.
2021-present Volkswagen Taos
This small SUV is basically what replaced the base Golf, and it's not exactly what you'd call an upgrade. This model was originally designed for CIS markets before it was tossed here stateside.
[ external image ]
[ external image ]
2011-2017 Nissan Quest (RE52)
Another minivan that needs to be added, and one that is forgotten by time.
[ external image ]
[ external image ]
2024-present Mercedes-AMG GT 63 (C192) (Exotic Grand Tourer)
This very pricey grand tourer is a real monster and has the look to match. This model would be a fine distraction over the endless waves of SUVs.
[ external image ]
[ external image ]
2022-present Toyota GR86 (ZN8)
A modern-day equivalent of fun-to-drive and honest-to-goodness sports coupe. Though it is a restyled model that had originated a decade ago, the GR86 - alongside its Subaru cousin (which could be a variant to add into) - checks all of the boxes of a stylish, sporty tuner vehicle of choice. Both this and the BRZ are also sold in Europe.
[ external image ]
[ external image ]
Lastly, I would also want to see another bike as a parked vehicle node (for now):
1994 Yamaha FZR-1000 - Often known by fans as the 'Hawkeye,' the FZR 1000 was a Japanese run-of-the-mill sport bike with an oh-so-90s flair. The Genesis model, shown here in Ride 3 (albeit gated behind DLC), will work as an inspiration.

From top: Wheelsage (8); all pictures courtesy of the manufacturers and third party sources.
I will not read into any other responses, my posts are for educational purposes and they are there for a reason - to hunt down and research models that can be used as future AI cars or props. Treat it as a suggestion and such, please.

Looks like we get the shuttle bus, the 4x4 fire truck and some classic muscle car. Also a bunch of car trailers and this highway maintenance trailer. Love it
