Alright, here are more new vehicle proposals to add into ATS in the future.

2021-present Ford Bronco (U725)
Yes, we're all aware that the licensed model we are getting isn't coming as a traffic vehicle anytime soon. But what we can add, however, is a slightly-modified variant of the rebooted Bronco, made to compete with the JL Wrangler, and as such, we will offer it in various trims and body styles (again, a la BeamNG). The two-door, four-door, and the widebody Raptor models will be included as somewhat fictionalized traffic models. Each one of them have fully detachable top partitions and doors. The four-door model was eventually offered in Europe.

2024-present Jeep Wagoneer S (KM)
A more sophisticated electric-laden Jeep SUV with a streamlined design and urban appeal.

2025-present Aston Martin Vantage (Exotic car)
The updated version of the Vantage and still looks great, and therefore a worthy addition to the exotic car roster.

2022-present Mitsubishi Outlander (GM)
For 2022, the Outlander was wholly renewed thanks to a partnership with Nissan, and still holds up today. Beginning this year, a Nissan variant, the Rogue PHEV, cropped up and is basically a rebadged Outlander.

Bonus:
Ducati 748 - A modest version of the common, but pricey Ducati sport bikes of the late 90s and early aughts. This is based on the design of the 916 and the more powerful 996 and has an iconic design which I happen to like. Ride 3 model shown.

For now, though, it would only appear as a parked vehicle node since it can't be used as a movable AI car (yet). I still would like to see superbikes in some form in both ATS and ETS2 though.

To be perfectly honest, this game is called American Truck Simulator—not American Driving Simulator or whatever it’s being turned into.

Fix the AI and the many other issues already in the sim before even thinking about adding more unnecessary content. Or, better yet, create a separate simulator for the people asking for buses and cars. Stop pandering to the whiners.

This is AMERICAN TRUCK SIMULATOR. Nothing else.

This is coming from an IRL trucker who was an owner-operator, ran OTR, and logged well over 5 million safe miles. The AI in this sim is a joke. Where in real life do semis or other vehicles just stop dead for no reason? That's not the half of it though with your AI.

Since you already have an engine, create a one-off car/bus simulator for the people who want that kind of content. You need to properly solve the existing bugs—especially the AI—and stop claiming it’s been fixed when it clearly hasn’t. The AI in this sim is a complete joke, and it’s only getting worse.

In summary:
Create a new simulator for the people who want cars and buses. Leave ATS alone. And fix the AI—because it’s so broken at this point that it’s insane.

2004-2008 Nissan Maxima (A34)
What qualifies as a typical Nissan sedan and one that has been overlooked and forgotten about. It's definitely time we need to see some retro cheap sedans like this durable Maxima.

A restyled version of the Maxima that remains common to this day. 2012 facelift shown below.

This rugged, bite-sized Bronco Sport is based on the Escape structure and is still a popular utility vehicle you can buy today. I know these photos courtesy of the brand themselves are of the pre-production model, but as far as I am aware it has been unchanged, if not much. It is also available in Latin American markets.

2017-present Cadillac XT5 (GMTC1UL)
Basically, a successor of the SRX. 2020 model shown.

It's worth noting that a newer model (from 2024) is on sale, but it is exclusively sold in China so that can not be added.

Bonus: As usual, SCS should expand their library of bike assets. We're going to do a two-for-one special. See below (and both models are from Ride 3). Please note that for now they will serve as parked vehicle nodes, and both can be transferred to ETS2.

1998 Yamaha YZF-R1 - Considered the golden boy of Japanese super bikes, the YZF-R1 has a historic pedigree and culture to boot. A state-of-the-art Deltabox II transmission and high-quality materials made this a worthy future classic, and it keeps up with its relevance over 25 years later.

2020-2025 Kia Soul (SK3)
The third-gen box favorite has a stylish take that evolved from the previous two generations. 2023 facelift shown below. Kia has since cut down this model from the North American market, and this model can be fully transferred to ETS2 since it is also sold in Europe (as well as EV models).

2016-present Land Rover Discovery Sport (L550)
A landmark improvement over the older Discovery models and generally known as the British Explorer. The HSE Luxury model shown below is what the Americans usually got.

2023-present Lexus RX (AL30)
Redesigned for 2023, the fourth-gen RX is stylish as well as being fairly fun to drive. The crossover SUV comes with hybrid options and reasonable space, and is also available in Europe.

2015-2023 Dodge Challenger (LA)
While Road Trip is getting a fully-licensed Hellcat, it won't be used as a traffic car. But the restyled 2015 Challenger shouldn't be left behind. For the time being I will present the basic SXT model - which is a base model - as an inspiration for its unlicensed creation. More variants - including factory widebody models - will added later.

2015-2023 Dodge Charger (LD)
This is long overdue, since many police fleets all across the US still use this reliable cruiser. The restyled 2015 model also spawned a Hellcat model which I plan to add into at a later date. For now, the R/T model shown below should provide.

And as usual, a new bike to be seen as a parked vehicle node for now (as there isn't any plan to have them as movable AI cars yet).

2025-present Cadillac Optiq
Part of that "iq" range, and yet another EV SUV that has joined the Cadillac lineup this year. Just as every other electric Cadillac with those types of names, it's got your standard fare of high-tech equipment.

2025-present Lincoln Navigator
Much like the current-gen Expedition, the Navigator was restyled last year and it is still the gorgeous luxury SUV you see today with both its short and long wheelbase models.

Well, do I have some great news for both you and @halbtollekreatur...

Those two vehicles above in question... were apparently noticed. Both are confirmed to come into the AI Traffic Vehicle/Car roster in next updates. They've made their debuts in the latest Illinois post.

It's better to judge what it is based on when it actually spawns in-game through the open betas first rather than a blog screenshot or blog video.

Also: Let me restate that modeling any vehicle takes some time. Sure, with the right references (minimal as they need be; just provide the make/model, year range, and brief description) and the preliminary shape, they can be done easily. News flash, however: Modeling any asset (such as a vehicle for traffic) requires A LOT of rendering, UV mapping, texturing, and a whole lot more details to hammer out before they will see the light of day. That and having interior textures and driver/passenger nodes too - plus unique rims (which they really need to do). And then there's the process of coding said vehicle to the game world....

All of this can take quite a while (I suspect about a year or two) especially if you factor in variants. Just a point of order. But honestly, it would be nice if the new AI vehicles weren't another similar-looking SUV. Would be nice if an actual minivan would show up and have two vehicles addressed and removed from the game (you know what they are).

Plus, those two new AI traffic cars were likely in development long before I made those posts about those two vehicles I added to the wishlist. The Blazer EV lookalike was sighted in the LA gameplay video which was temporarily disabled (now it is likely confirmed for 1.59)

Turns out the SUV is the Navigator so that part can be forgotten. Plus we got a ETS2 model - the Land Cruiser to go along with it.
