Don't get me wrong, I like the tuning packs... I just think that making OEM parts and painted trims exclusive to a tuning pack and therefore restraining us from having painted parts until the tuning pack releases (Which may take years) is completely wrong. Especially for me and others who absolutely hate using mods.

This has been my sentiment since they started making tuning DLCs. It seems inconsistent for some trucks to only have paint accessories by default, others to have both paint and plastic, and others to have just plastic. Maybe this is because I don't like the sight of chrome-laden eyesores hauling company-issued trailers and instead go minimalist wherever I can.

If they made painted trims available from the get-go, they would have room freed up from tuning dlc's and would be able to make more diversity other than mostly OEM and Painted trims.

Take the T Tuning Pack that released recently, most parts are either OEM or painted options... It's a great DLC nonetheless but if the paint parts were available in the base game, more parts could have been added like more "normal" rear bumpers instead of that gray abomination and so on.

At present, only Volvo FH/FH Classic, Renault T Range/Evolution and MAN TGX Euro 6 can remove the deflector, while Scania R, DAF XF105, DAF XF and other trucks cannot be removed, and the mudguard can be removed. Trucks with upper plate removed or optional factory or painted upper fender only Volvo FH/FH Classic, Renault T Range/Evolution, MAN TGX Euro 6, Mercedes Benz Actros/New Actros
Hopefully in the future America Truck Simulator will add these trucks: Freightliner 122SD/Century/Columbia/FLD/Cascadia/Coronado, Kenworth T800/T880/W990,Volvo VNX740, International HX520/ ProStar, and MACK Pinnacle, MACK Titan.

The old faithful DAF XF is one of my favourites and looking at those plastic parts hurts my eyes :) More customization option always welcome.
