80 mph speed limit west of Reno, Nevada [184574]

#1 Post by Unster » 11 May 2022 03:51

Heading west on I-80, just west of Reno there is a short section that has an incorrect and unrealistic 80 mph speed limit before changing back to 65 mph. This is still on the Nevada side before reaching the California border. Sorry I didn't capture the coordinates at the time, but it should be easy to find.

Always reproducible I believe.

Please follow the bug reporting process.

Game logs are important. (Apart from anything else they prove whether you use mods or not.)

I posted a game log last time here:

Is it really necessary to follow the bug report process to the letter every single time even when it's a simple map bug and I don't have any map related mods? If so, it's a little discouraging.

I will. Just this time I hesitated to report it, and by the time I decided to report it my truck was already at a different location.

I have a question. Do you want the game log every time, even for map problems that can't possibly be related to any mods I have?

Yes we do as the game log shows a variety of other items of use.

After a long time, I drove this way again yesterday, and the issue is still present in the current build.

They've acknowledged it's a bug, they've never said they fixed it.

Right, it's just a reminder and I was a little surprised that such a small issue is still not fixed after 3 months during which there were many updates to the game.

Because there are hundreds if not thousands of similar small issues and only so much time that can be spent on fixing them.
